Pan Long opened his eyes to a lush forest and a distant Mountain Cliff.

He rolled over and stood up. His body felt fine. Not only was he free of pain, but even the weakness that should have followed Rage was nowhere to be found.

All around him, though, broken branches and torn leaves littered the ground. Judging by the damage to the canopy overhead, he had fallen straight off the Mountain Cliff.

He had smashed countless branches on the way down. How could he be completely unharmed?

He thought for a moment and opened his status panel. Sure enough, the Holy Spirit Potion was gone from its place in one of his three Quick Item Slots.

"So it was the Holy Spirit Potion."

He could not help sighing.

He had activated Rage, temporarily gaining an almost undying body, and joined forces with Han Feng against He Tiankui. Both sides had suffered grievously. When Rage ended, Pan Long should have died. Instead, the Holy Spirit Potion had activated on its own and restored him to perfect health.

No wonder it was a rare treasure! Carrying a bottle was like having an extra life!

Of course, the Most Holy Boots on his feet had helped enormously too. If that treasure had not absorbed at least some of the force of his fall, his body might have shattered into pieces. Even if Rage had kept him from dying of his injuries, the Holy Spirit Potion probably could not have saved him from that.

Just like Han Feng...

He clenched his teeth.

"Maybe I saw it wrong. A-Feng was only hurt..." He told himself a lie that even a child would not believe, trying somehow to fool himself.

He looked up again and found one thing to be grateful for.
