After hearing the old man out, Jiang Hao couldn't help wondering what would happen if he brought the Creation Chamber back to Blue Star and used it to create the monsters and mythical beasts of legend.
But the Creation Chamber seemed to be part of the Floating City's larger system and couldn't be removed on its own. The city's power system was also damaged; until it was repaired, taking it to Blue Star wouldn't get it airborne.
Besides, these biological weapons looked nothing like the beasts of myth and legend...
After thinking it over, he asked, "Can the Creation Chamber alter a creature's body?"
The old man froze for a moment, then considered the question. "It can, but every creature here has been carefully tested and refined by countless Mages of the empire. Altering them rashly would reduce their combat strength."
They don't need to be that strong. They just need to look like the creatures in the myths... I'm not conquering bodies. I'm conquering minds. With that thought, Jiang Hao walked up to the crystal and imprinted his mind upon it. "I'll give you the designs for a dozen or so monsters. Make them for me. I'll come back in a while and take them and the Shadow Magic Net with me."
"There's a dog with three heads and a snake for a tail; a creature that's half man, half bull; a Dragon with a hundred heads; a giant with one eye; and a fire-breathing beast with a lion's front half, a goat's middle, and a snake for a tail..."
One by one, he described famous monsters from Blue Star's myths and legends.
The old man's mouth twitched as he listened. He silently searched for the right words, and after a few seconds, found them. "Whoever came up with
