Background
Jiang Hao lived on Blue Star for more than twenty years without seeing supernatural power. After retaining his Sun God powers there, he concluded that he could perform miracles in a world whose worshipped statues appeared to be lifeless 2. He later questioned whether Blue Star’s lack of supernatural power prevented him from ascending to godhood there 14.
Blue Star’s population made it an unusually valuable source of faith. Jiang Hao estimated that two miracles in the Eastern Isles generated as much faith as a large ritual attended by more than 160,000 of his Otherworld followers 14. He repeatedly returned to Blue Star to gather faith and acquire objects associated with its mythologies 22 49 396.
Supernatural Environment
- Faith and divine artifacts — The Yata Mirror had accumulated more than a thousand years of worship on Blue Star. Jiang Hao converted that faith into Divine Power and transformed the mirror into a Divine Artifact 14.
- Shadow Magic Net — Jiang Hao brought this artifact to Blue Star to draw energy from the universe and project it onto the planet as elemental energy. After several years, humanity had not detected either the energy or the net 178 430.
- Cultivation — Once a cultivation method spread online, people began absorbing elements controlled by the Shadow Magic Net. In exchange, the net drew spiritual energy from them, expanded rapidly, and incorporated the sun as an energy node 439.
