The gods couldn't possibly overlook something this big. It was like the president of America on Blue Star: he might not hear about one person dying, but if everyone in a city suddenly dropped dead, he would certainly find out. The only question was how long it would take.
"Ten minutes at most," the Female Bishop said with certainty. "These demons of the Abyss can hide this from the great goddess for no longer than ten minutes."
