Jiang Hao's heart shook. Ever since he discovered that playing the role of the God of Light had failed to grant him Authority over light, he had suspected that some god secretly held it. Now he had his answer: the Good Snake.
It took him a while to digest this before he asked,
"How do you know all this?"
Seated on the Divine Throne, Asmodeus parted his lips and uttered a name.
"Omniscience."
Omniscience? Jiang Hao immediately thought of the Lord of Omniscience. Once the God of Knowledge, he now knew everything that happened in this world. Had Asmodeus joined forces with him?
Then another question occurred to Jiang Hao.
What were the limits of the Lord of Omniscience's knowledge?
Did he know only what was already known, or the unknown as well? Did he know only what had happened in the past and present, or things yet to happen in the future? Did his knowledge cover only the Multiverse, or events in other universes too? Question after question arose in Jiang Hao's mind, followed by one guess after another.
There had to be substantial limits. Even after gaining Omniscience, the Lord of Omniscience had only reached Divine Rank 19, putting him on the same level as the Good Snake, the Evil Serpent, the Lady of Night, the Doom Sovereign, and the Lord of All's End. He was not a Divine Rank 20 god who stood above all others.
At that thought, Jiang Hao relaxed a little.
If the Lord of Omniscience knew the unknown, the future, and even other universes, Jiang Hao might as well become an Evil God as soon as possible. Clinging to the Lord of Omniscience might offer better prospects.
