Lucifer stood blocking the doorway. A commotion swept through the White House, and its security personnel immediately trained their weapons on the clearly fallen angel.

With so much power in their hands, they had no intention of smashing their precious lives against the meteorite that was Lucifer.

"If Your Highness has any orders, I would not dare refuse."

Some lowered their heads outright and offered Lucifer their most harmless smiles.

Humanity's anthem was a song of courage, but bowing to an Evil God took courage too.

Then wonderful news fell into their laps. "Don't be afraid. You aren't my target."

A glimmer of joy crept into their eyes.
