"Blue Star—and the other Planets in the Solar System, along with those Cthulhu Evil Gods and the gods of the Americas—were all moved into the universe in that Fallen God's palm? Oh my God. Astronomers, please tell me that isn't true. Tell me I'm an idiot and I'm imagining things..."
On the blue Planet, countless people stood frozen before their screens, their minds still struggling to process the terrifying sight they had just witnessed.
We were doing fine in our own universe. We don't want to go to another one.
Anyone with even a little knowledge of astronomy knew that space was filled with all kinds of radiation and forces. They permeated the vacuum and raged everywhere. A star system with a stable structure like the Solar System was a masterpiece of the cosmos.
In the decades since humanity had turned its gaze from Earth toward the vast universe, its telescopes had seen and photographed countless planets. Yet worlds with an environment and structure as stable as the Solar System's were vanishingly rare. One could even say there were none.
In a sense, a star system like the Solar System, capable of nurturing life and Civilization, was unique.
And now, the Fallen God had drawn the entire Solar System into the universe in his palm.
That universe had only just been born. It was unstable, filled with drifting nebulae and newly formed Planets, its environment constantly changing. Even setting that aside, the chain reaction caused by a star system suddenly entering a barely formed universe would be enough to destroy the Solar System's entire ecosystem.
And no matter how vast the universe before them appeared, they could not forget that they had watched it come into being. They had seen it when it was no bigger than a palm.
