The Kennedy Space Center fell silent.

They knew the thing was far away in outer space. They knew they were looking at it through a screen. But as they met the gaze of those countless eyes, a chill still crept over them.

Hodgson stared back at the eyes. His scalp prickled, cold shot through him, and every hair on his body stood on end. "Did it see us?"

"Quick... cut the connection to the satellite!" Kyosuke Kitajima shouted, his voice trembling. As Ryosuke Kitada's friend, he had read several Cthulhu novels at Ryosuke's urging and knew of Yog-Sothoth.

Also called The All-in-One and Key to the Gate, Yog-Sothoth is an Omniscience and all-seeing being. Its gaze can reach anything in the universe it wishes to see. It's perfectly normal for it to sense us watching it and look our way."

Kyosuke panted as he spoke. "Luckily, it was Yog-Sothoth, not Cthulhu, Lord of R'lyeh, or another Evil God. Otherwise, we would have gone mad the instant we saw it."
