"Was I hearing things? Why could I hear a sound, a constant sound, like an alarm? Did any of you hear it?"

Someone posted the question online.

"I heard it too. It's driving me crazy. I was up last night for reasons I'd rather not explain, and I planned to catch up on sleep after work today. But with that noise going on, I can't sleep at all."

"Hey, have you heard? An asteroid suddenly appeared near Blue Star. They say it looks really strange, and that singing is coming from it. It looks a lot like Ghroth, the Star of Judgment from the Cthulhu Mythos."

"Seriously?"

"Fake. If something like that had really happened, observatories everywhere would have reported it by now. They haven't said a word, so it's fake."

"To the person calling it fake, explain the singing coming down from the sky. What, is someone flying around with a sound system, blasting music for the whole world? And just because the observatories haven't reported it doesn't mean it isn't there. Maybe they know and aren't saying anything because they're afraid of causing a panic. In case you didn't know, plenty of amateur astronomers have photographed the asteroid."

"I'm an amateur astronomer, and I can confirm that an asteroid really has appeared near Blue Star. Here's a photo. Doesn't it look like Ghroth from the Cthulhu Mythos? And there's something else: not long after it appeared, purple bubbles started showing up too. (Image) (Image)"

"Think there are only a few of those purple bubbles appearing out of nowhere? Don't worry, their numbers are growing exponentially. And do they look familiar to some of you? That's right. It's Yog-Sothoth!"
