The sunlight slanted in from the window, dragging a slender strip of light on the floor of the office. Dust floated slowly in the beam of light, like a swarm of silent flying insects.

Yongye was leaning on the new leather chair, his back sunk into the soft backrest, and he was flipping through a ninja novel that he had received from Ayame.

There was a cup of cold tea on the table, with a very light tea stain on the rim of the cup.

Uchiha Izumi crawled out from under the table, tidied up, and started Secretary's normal work.

"Sir Yongye, there are still no clues found in the disappearance case of Nine-Tails Jinchuriki and the jailbreak case of Uchiha Itachi."

"Any latest instructions?"

Yongye didn't take his eyes away from the novel, casually said "hmm" and then waved his hand.

Quan's lips moved and he stared at the tea cup, as if he wanted to say something else, but in the end he just bowed slightly and turned around to leave.

When she walked to the door, she paused and looked back.

Yongye was still leaning on the back of the chair, flipping through the novel, as if he didn't notice her stay at all. The door panel closed behind her, making a slight click.

The office became quiet again.

Yongye put down the novel, his eyes fell on the closed door panel, a meaningful sarcasm slowly appeared at the corner of his mouth, and he smiled silently.

Not only Nine-Tails Jinchuriki Naruto Uzumaki is missing, in fact, Sasuke Uchiha is also missing.

Uchiha Fugaku is deliberately hiding it, but this kind of thing can't be hidden for long. Now Uchiha is willing to show his goodwill to Yongye, but not too much.

The younger sons of Nine-Tails Jinchuriki and Uchiha Clan Head, who were under close surveillance, both disappeared at the same time. The power to plot against these two people at the same time and get them away under the nose of Konoha is very rare in Shinobi World as a whole.

Taking into account the reincarnation of their Asura and Indra, the mastermind behind the scenes is clearly revealed.

Either Sage of Six Paths or Great Toad Sage!

No matter which one it is, it shows that his previous activities of tossing Hiruzen Sarutobi's group have attracted higher-level attention.

Yongye was not surprised or panicked. Instead, a long-lost expectation arose in his heart.

He has been waiting for this day for a long time.

He had a hunch that these two immortals Heart-Severing would make him earn more!

Before, he only asked if he could live forever? Now, he wants to be invincible and wander around Myriad Worlds!

The door panel was pushed open again, and the spring came back. Her breathing was a little faster than before, as if she was trotting back.

"Master Yongye, Shisui Uchiha is asking for an audience. He said there is news about the traitor Hiruzen Sarutobi."

Yongye's eyes fell on Quan's face and he paused for a breath. He closed the novel and threw it on the corner of the table. He straightened up from the backrest and placed his feet back on the ground from the edge of the table.

"Tell him to come in."

Quan nodded, turned around and went out. After a moment, the door panel was pushed open again, and Shisui Uchiha stood at the door, his black eyes glowing with a dull luster in the afternoon light.

His back was straight, his chin was slightly retracted, his hands were hanging by his sides, and his fingers were naturally bent. His steps were steady, and every step he took on the wooden floor was even and powerful. He stopped in front of the desk and bowed slightly.

"Master Yongye, I received news that the rebel Hiruzen Sarutobi asked me to meet outside the village."

"He thought I was still loyal to him."

Shisui's tone was steady and his eyes were calm.

Yongye stood up from the chair, walked around the desk, and walked towards the door.

"Let's go, arrest him immediately and bring him to justice."

Shisui followed half a step behind him, keeping pace with Yongye. The two walked through the corridor, walked down the stairs, and passed the foyer. Several Security Force members saw them and stepped aside to give way.

When he reached the gate, Shisui paused and turned his head to look at Yongye.

"Aren't you going to call someone else? Do you want to inform Lord Hokage?"

Yongye's steps did not stop.

"No, just one Hiruzen Sarutobi, the two of us are enough."

Shisui's mouth moved, but he continued to follow without asking.

The two figures disappeared outside the door, and the sunlight dragged their shadows into two long parallel shadows on the Stone Slab ground. After turning around the alley, they disappeared completely.

Uchiha Izumi stood in the shadow on the inside of the foyer, watching the two shadows disappear at the entrance of the alley.

She looked around to make sure there was no one else around, immediately turned around and walked quickly back to her office.

The door panel closed behind her, she walked to the window and summoned a Ninja Crow.

Ninja Crow had a thin tube tied to her feet. She quickly wrote a few words and stuffed it into the tube, then released Ninja Crow from the window.

The gray wings flashed in the afternoon sun, quickly took off, and flew towards the outside of the village.

Uchiha Izumi stared at Ninja Crow disappearing, sighing faintly, with a look of confusion, melancholy and helplessness.

Outside Konoha, there is an abandoned Training Ground.

Weeds squeezed out of the cracks, glowing yellow in the sunlight. The barbed wire fence was stained with rust, and a few broken wires were gently swaying in the wind. The open space in the center of Training Ground was fairly flat, but the ground had been stepped on, revealing a layer of gray-white hard soil.

Ninja Crow fell from the sky and landed on the branch of a dead tree at the edge of Training Ground, making a low cooing sound.

Uchiha Itachi walked out from the shadow of the dead tree, raised his hand, and Ninja Crow landed on his forearm. The thin tube tied to his foot shimmered in the sunlight.

He took off the thin tube, unfolded the piece of paper, glanced at it, and then a flame lit up at his fingertips, and the paper burned into ashes and scattered in the wind.

He turned his head and walked toward the shadow in the other direction of Training Ground.

Hiruzen Sarutobi stood at the edge of the shadow, his mask pulled down to his chin, revealing his wrinkled face. His gaze paused on Itachi's face for a moment, then moved away, landing in the direction of Training Ground's entrance.

"Things are going well, he will come."

"As expected, he didn't bother to bring anyone else with him, just him!"

Itachi's voice was a bit drier than before, as if he was recovering from a serious illness.

A dark purple pattern was exposed on the side of his neck, extending upward from the edge of his collar and going behind his ears. Those patterns glowed abnormally bright under the sunlight, like the reflection of snake scales.

Hiruzen Sarutobi frowned, his eyes swept from Itachi's face to his neck, and then returned to his original position.

"The Cursed Seal transplanted by Orochimaru for you is not stable enough. Please leave first."

Uchiha Itachi was silent for a moment, and then nodded slightly. His figure was ejected from the spot, stepped over two collapsed barbed wire fences, and disappeared into the bushes behind the dead trees after a few ups and downs.

It became quiet again on Training Ground. The wind blew from the east, picking up the dust on the ground and raising a pale yellow mist in the sunlight.

Hiruzen Sarutobi turned around and tilted his head in the direction of Ruins behind him.

"Orochimaru, summon First and the second generation adults. Things are about to begin."

There was a burst of hoarse laughter from Ruins. The figure of Orochimaru slowly rose from the shadows above the ground, as if growing out of the soil, first the shoulders, then the head, and finally the entire body. The long silver-gray hair hung down on the shoulders, and the golden vertical pupils narrowed into a thin line in the sunlight.

He shook his head.

"Not yet. Uchiha Yongye is likely to have the ability to sense. If we summon it now, it would be a big loss if we alert the enemy."
