Background and History
Yongye inherits the memories of an Uchiha whose parents were killed during a secret Konoha mission. Their dying summoning beast identified Shimura Danzō as the killer. Fugaku declined to help the family, while Hiruzen dismissed the case for lack of evidence. Yongye’s elder brother died attempting to assassinate Danzō and was branded a rogue ninja; the original Yongye later died from wounds inflicted by an unknown attacker. A man from Earth then entered his body and adopted the family’s grievance as his own 1.
His Heart-Piercing System turns severe emotional distress inflicted on others into mystery-box rewards. Yongye first uses it by attacking Sasuke’s faith in Fugaku, then repeatedly provokes Itachi, Shisui, and Konoha’s leaders. He sets his sights on Fugaku, Danzō, and Hiruzen, intending to ruin what each values before killing them 1 4.
Yongye uses a disguised Lightning Release Clone to attack Root operatives watching the Uchiha compound, concealing his identity and destroying evidence that could reveal his involvement. In a later public confrontation, he kills Root members, badly injures Danzō, and presses Hiruzen to answer for accusations against the Uchiha. With clan members rallying behind him, Yongye secures Danzō’s removal as Hokage Advisor 5 14 15 16.
His defiance does not translate into obedience to the clan: he rejects Fugaku’s warnings and the elders’ authority. He also refuses a mission assigned by Hiruzen, who comes to regard him as too dangerous to pressure openly 18 21 38 40.
He charges the eight Uchiha he rescued one hundred thousand ryō each rather than openly recruiting them into a faction. Later negotiations with Hiruzen, Fugaku, and Danzō produce an agreement to ambush the supposed Madara Uchiha and a demand that Danzō pay Yongye one hundred million ryō 18 46.
Yongye later takes charge of the Military Police investigation into the theft of Shisui’s eyes. He recruits five loyal officers, whom he renames Zhan Zhao, Wang Chao, Ma Han, Jiang Long, and Zhao Hu, and publicly promises to pursue the culprit regardless of status. The investigation becomes a means of confronting Danzō and Hiruzen; Yongye also pressures witnesses and suspects during a public proceeding 85 99. His campaign leaves Hiruzen disgraced and Danzō broken. After the destruction of the Shimura clan, Yongye shows an imprisoned Itachi his own golden Susanoo and uses its color to deflect suspicion toward the wielder of a red Susanoo 134 137.
During this campaign, Yongye copies Kotoamatsukami from Shisui’s eyes. He intends to make Shisui turn against Hiruzen and later acknowledges that he restored Shisui’s eyes for an assassination attempt against the former Hokage. When Itachi disappears, Yongye rejects Izumi’s plea for leniency, orders Fugaku’s home searched, and resolves to wipe out the Uchiha clan 108 124 169.
After capturing Deva Path Pain, Yongye stores its body in his Spatial Villa and copies both Obito’s and Kakashi’s Kamui abilities. In a private meeting, Kakashi pledges to return to Konoha’s service as a spy beside Obito and supplies information about the developing assassination plot against Yongye. Konan later approaches Yongye to buy Pain’s body, and he takes her into his private space to inspect it 155 157 188.
His conflicts expand beyond Konoha. At the Five Kage Summit, Yongye recognizes that other leaders are stalling for Orochimaru’s preparations but lets them continue. He defeats Killer B and Yugito, then humiliates Kitsuchi and Akatsuchi in front of the assembled shinobi. When reanimated fighters join the confrontation, his Golden Armored Giant Ape devastates the Land of Iron; he subsequently begins sealing Madara and Tobirama 246 250 251 267 268.
In the River of Time, Yongye is stripped of system-granted powers and possessions. His Xingtian Immortal Body keeps rebuilding him as he deepens his understanding of time. He encounters and merges with the grieving original Yongye, then retraces the river to recover what he lost. At its source, he declares the system his own 274 275. Upon returning, he learns that ten years have passed, Naruto has become Sixth Hokage, and he himself is remembered as the Otherworldly Demon 275.
Yongye subsequently confronts the Sage of Six Paths, the Great Toad Sage, and the White Snake Sage in the Pure Land. He employs time manipulation and a combined Tri-Beam: Fifteen Deathblow Swords attack that begins collapsing the realm. He then overwhelms Kaguya, stops time to kill her, and obtains her as Divine Flame kindling along with the Expansive Truth-Seeking Orb. Returning to the Valley of the End, he ignites the Divine Flame 279 280 281. After the Divine Flame consumes the Naruto world, he passes through the Multiverse Gate into a Marvel–DC crossover world, arriving during the Chitauri invasion and shutting its portal by taking the Space Stone 282 283.
In the new world, Yongye defeats or humiliates several Avengers and Batman, while acquiring a growing array of abilities and equipment. He takes control of the Daily Planet’s parent company as a platform for public influence. During General Zod’s threatened invasion, he negotiates with the U.S. government for the chairmanship of the Eye Society and publicly claims authority to oversee superpowered people 283 285 294 295 303 312 315 316. He later kills Faora and Jaeo and fights Zod’s forces 322 323 326.
Leaving a Wood Clone to handle a press conference, Yongye adopts Minato Namikaze’s appearance and enters Gotham, presenting himself as his own junior apprentice. In this disguise, he encounters the captive Batman, Talia al Ghul, and her assassins, then fights Gotham’s criminals. He counters Joker’s use of the Anti-Yongye Armor with speed, weight manipulation, and Flying Thunder God, including redirecting its laser attacks 338 339 340 344 346 347.
Yongye’s relationship with U.S. officials deteriorates despite his public standing. When the administration attempts to blame him for its nuclear strike on Wakanda, the Eye Society releases recordings of officials planning the attack and manipulating public opinion. The disclosures lead to Grand Commander Aoniu’s impeachment, though they also prompt concern about Yongye’s surveillance capabilities. Yongye decides to establish his own team, The Boys, rather than rely solely on the politically organized Eye Society 359 379 381. Later, he contains Ultron’s cloud-based consciousness in a Mother Box and, after transforming into a Super Saiyan, ends Doomsday’s rampage by sending it into another dimension 377 462.
Yongye rescues Wanda and Pietro from Hydra’s confinement, brings them to his Manhattan apartment, and gives Wanda the Mind Stone and a method to awaken their potential. He later directs Pietro to join the Avengers Alliance as an undercover observer and formally accepts Wanda as his apprentice after helping stabilize her energy 386 410 411.
During the controversy over Yongye’s apparent assassination, the Minato Namikaze persona accuses Batman of masterminding it. The accusation causes international outrage, and the Eye Society demands that Batman appear within twenty-four hours; Batman instead goes into hiding 441.
Susanoo-no-Mikoto later confronts Yongye in his living room, demanding that he locate Minato, remove Doomsday from Fusang, and swear not to scheme against its gods. Yongye resists the god’s crushing pressure, transforms into a Super Saiyan, and answers with deliberately outrageous demands for Takamagahara’s submission. In a subsequent public dispute with Hela and Iron Man, he cites Susanoo-no-Mikoto’s defeat and refuses to assist Asgard unless it follows the Eye Society’s instructions. His livestreamed response shifts public opinion toward him and disrupts the coordinated campaign against him 483 503.
By Chapter 507, Yongye’s newly acquired Majin Buu physiology has merged with his Saiyan bloodline and Xingtian Immortal Body into an Elementary Chaos God Body. He later receives detailed knowledge of Dormammu’s Dark Dimension and declares his intention to deal with Dormammu after Fusang 507 525.
In a later confrontation with the Justice League, Yongye invites its members to attack together under a wager backed by deadly oaths. He incapacitates Diana with the Lasso of Deception, weakens Superman with a red sun force field, and shoots him in the thigh with a Kryptonite bullet made from Batman’s designs 528 529.
As a Multiversal Incursion threatens Earth, Doctor Strange appeals to Yongye for help. Yongye deliberately lets the superheroes argue, intending their failure to establish his indispensability and force them into obedience. He advocates a preemptive attack that would destroy the other universe’s Earth, a proposal opposed by Superman, Steve, Thor, and Diana. When contact is established through a Space-Time Vortex, he recognizes Professor X and the X-Men from his previous-life knowledge, though the merged world’s heroes do not know them. He subsequently directs the others to arrange a delegation and investigate the other Earth’s secrets 537 541 548 549 550 555.
By Chapter 552, Yongye possesses the Phoenix Force and continuously refines psychic energy into Phoenix essence. He later skips a Heroes’ Conference because he considers further discussion fruitless, instead receiving Lois’s interview while Nōhime and Asano Nene massage him. He claims to be teaching the women, but Lois remains skeptical of his explanation 552 555.
Appearance
Yongye has a lean build and normally black eyes. Activating his Sharingan turns them crimson; by Chapter 20, each eye has three tomoe 5 20 49.
- Lightning Release Chakra Mode surrounds him with pale-blue electricity and makes his hair stand on end 4.
- His Indestructible Golden Body manifests as a dark-golden defense when struck 11.
- He can use his acquired Byakugan while his eyes retain their ordinary appearance 50.
- He can manifest a golden Susanoo and later wears the golden Gemini Gold Cloth 137 259 322.
- His Super Saiyan form gives him upright golden hair, emerald eyes, and a golden aura; his hair and eyes return to black when he powers down 462 485.
- His Minato Namikaze disguise has blond hair, blue eyes, and gentle, approachable features 338.
- After the formation of his Elementary Chaos God Body, pale pink briefly mingles with a deep-blue glow in his eyes 507.
- By Chapter 552, he is described as 180 centimeters tall, with a well-proportioned build and clear skin. His outwardly ordinary appearance conceals his cosmic power 552.
Personality
Yongye is vengeful, irreverent, and skilled at finding a person’s emotional weak point. He deliberately uses humiliation to earn system rewards, but also to weaken opponents’ authority: his attacks on Danzō and Fugaku target their public standing as much as their feelings. He rejects appeals to duty or rank when they conflict with his aims 1 16 21 40 46.
He pairs provocation with caution. He withdraws rather than prolong his first fight with Itachi, uses clones and disguises to conceal attacks, and stops short of pushing Hiruzen into an all-out clash. That restraint does not make him gentle: he kills Root operatives, brutally disables Asuma, and intimidates and coerces Ayame after confronting her and Teuchi over his contaminated ramen 3 5 15 23 25.
His later campaigns retain that combination of calculation and cruelty. He lets enemies prepare a trap because crushing their resulting hope may yield a better reward, uses public spectacle and institutional authority to magnify psychological pressure, and openly threatens officials’ families when they try to constrain him. He also prefers to conceal the full extent of his strength, sometimes encouraging opponents to believe that his armor is its source 246 315 330 465.
He is willing to injure an animal to demonstrate his healing power and uses others’ medical needs as leverage. His dealings with women frequently involve coercion, threats, or demands for intimacy in exchange for assistance, including his negotiations with Yugao, Talia, and Atlanna 78 236 372 395.
Yongye uses his knowledge of fiction both tactically and theatrically. He invokes film references that confuse the people around him, recognizes characters and events from other worlds, and deliberately adopts Minato’s appearance and signature style to support a fabricated identity. He also holds back against opponents such as Batman and Deadpool to prolong their resistance and create further opportunities to exploit them 17 18 282 294 296 338 548.
His response to the Multiversal Incursion illustrates his willingness to exploit even an existential crisis for political control. Rather than immediately resolve the heroes’ disagreements, he wants their arguments to expose their naïveté and leave them dependent on him. His preferred preemptive solution disregards the survival of the other Earth 537 555.
Abilities and Skills
Heart-Piercing System and Clear Sword Heart
The system awards mystery boxes when Yongye inflicts sufficient psychological damage; their contents account for much of his rapid growth. Clear Sword Heart gives him unusually precise awareness and helps him read attacks and techniques 1 2.
- He detects chakra signatures, movement, and signs of concealed intent 4 6 22.
- He recognizes the path and weak point of Itachi’s genjutsu, then pretends to fall for it to create an opening 2.
- He evades Hayate and Yugao’s coordinated sword attacks without activating his Sharingan 49.
- The system does not reward every apparent breakdown. By Chapter 50, Yongye is investigating why some distressed targets produce no reward 38 50.
- Clear Sword Heart lets him read Obito’s transition from Kamui intangibility to solidity and anticipate Batman’s movements. Later rewards arrive from individual breakdowns and, in Konoha’s case, a collective reaction 54 199 294.
- The system’s rewards span techniques, bodily enhancements, equipment, and Divine Flame kindling. Yongye reclaims the system after his passage through the River of Time 199 268 275 345.
- Clear Sword Heart rapidly breaks down and integrates newly received knowledge, including medical techniques, soul-attacking chants, and Mother Box controls 84 327 345.
- It also restrains the violent impulses accompanying his Saiyan bloodline 288.
- Later system functions automatically fuse compatible constitutions, producing his Elementary Chaos God Body from three existing sources of power 507.
Dōjutsu and Genjutsu
His Sharingan progresses from one to three tomoe. The genjutsu compendium gives him command of Sharingan illusions below Mangekyō level and the ability to recognize, break, and counter them 14 20.
- He traps Asuma in an illusion that makes him fight an imaginary battle while Yongye remains near the ramen shop 24 25.
- His acquired Byakugan provides penetrating, all-around vision and can be used without visibly activating it 50.
- He can switch between the Byakugan and Sharingan, rather than use both at once 50.
- His later ocular abilities include the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and Fox Deity Rebirth, through which he can copy other Mangekyō abilities, including Kotoamatsukami, Tsukuyomi, and Kamui 199.
- He studies an apparent future-viewing Mangekyō ability, but concludes that its visions show the Sage of Six Paths’ prepared script rather than an unchangeable future 107.
- His copied Kotoamatsukami has a three-month cooldown when used to deeply alter someone’s convictions 108.
- He copies Kamui from both Obito’s right eye and Kakashi’s left eye 155.
- He possesses a limited-area time-stopping Eye Power and later uses the Rinnegan’s Human Path to pull Bruce Banner’s soul from Hulk’s body 243 285.
- Kyōka Suigetsu gives him complete hypnosis through its Shikai 316 325.
- The Lasso of Deception provides another means of trapping a target in an illusion; he uses it to incapacitate Diana 529.
Taijutsu and Defense
Yongye combines doubled physical attributes, Indestructible Golden Body, Lightning Release Chakra Mode, and the Eight Gates. He opens the Seventh Gate without visible injury and overpowers Might Guy when both are using seven gates 2 3 4 9 14 15.
- Golden Body stops Mikoto’s kunai at his chest and breaks its tip 11.
- Lightning armor enhances his speed, strength, reflexes, perception, and defense 4.
- He defeats Hayate and Yugao with physical movement and strikes alone, without using ninjutsu, the Sharingan, or the Eight Gates 49 50.
- Yongye regards techniques such as the Reaper Death Seal and Kamui as possible dangers despite his physical defense 10.
- A later reward triples his muscle density, bone strength, reflex speed, and internal-organ resilience, supplementing his earlier physical enhancement 124.
- Giant Strength lets him deliver chakra-powered blows while his physique and Golden Body protect him from recoil. The Dragon Essence further strengthens his body, and the Xingtian Immortal Body lets him recover from otherwise fatal damage while his will persists 67 134 137.
- His later martial arts include Three-Part Origin Energy, Tri-Beam, Heavenly Frost Fist, Cloud-Discharging Palm, Wind God Kick, and Rozan Rising Dragon Strike 99 151 249 295.
- He uses Wind God Kick to interrupt Kitsuchi’s and Akatsuchi’s techniques before their Earth Release defenses can form 250.
- Kaioken amplifies his power; his Saiyan bloodline provides further growth potential. In Super Saiyan form, he catches Doomsday’s strongest punch and kicks it through an alternate-dimensional portal 288 462.
- His Golden Cloth enhances his physical performance. He continues to exploit the mistaken assumption that disabling his technological armor will leave him defenseless 321 322 465.
- He remains mobile under a hundredfold increase in weight and uses the Ultra-Light-Weight Rock Technique to reduce the effectiveness of the Anti-Yongye Armor’s gravity field 310 347.
- His Super Saiyan power allows him to resist Susanoo-no-Mikoto’s crushing divine pressure 483.
Ninjutsu, Teleportation, and Clones
- Flying Thunder God: Yongye teleports to placed marks; he secretly marks Shinnosuke’s neck during a fight 11 26. He also uses marked kunai to redirect the Anti-Yongye Armor’s laser cannon into empty ground 346.
- Lightning Release Clones: He uses powerful clones and transformation disguises to act while obscuring his identity 5 29.
- Elemental techniques: His recorded arsenal includes Great Fire Annihilation, Five Release: Great Combo Technique, and Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere 5 15 17.
- Multiple Shadow Clone Technique: He plans to combine clones with Flying Thunder God for indirect action 37.
- Other techniques: He acquires a weight-altering rock technique, the Four Symbols Seal, and Impure World Reincarnation 16 33 41.
- Lightning Release: His later arsenal includes Lightning Blade and related techniques, as well as Storm Release: Black Panther Slash 54 284.
- Senjutsu and creation: Perfect Senjutsu allows safe use of Natural Energy. His Yin-Yang Release advances from a basic form to greater control over creation and transformation; he uses it with Impure World Reincarnation to restore Rin Nohara to a living body 76 83 183 268.
- Wood Release: Acquired during Nagato’s assault on Konoha. Yongye later leaves a Wood Clone to perform public duties while he acts elsewhere in disguise 203 338.
- Super Cloning Technology: Produces an empty physical vessel without the original’s soul or memories. Yongye considers combining it with soul summoning and Kotoamatsukami to create loyal agents 111.
- Concealment: Dustless Bewildering Cover allows him to hide his real body while an opponent attacks a decoy 199 201.
- Space and time: His growing mastery encompasses the Time and Space Laws, precise portals, and Another Dimension, which banishes targets. He uses these powers to navigate the River of Time and to remove Doomsday from the battlefield 268 274 303 305 362 462.
- Time Stop in combat: He immobilizes the Sage of Six Paths and the two animal sages within a limited area, and later stops time to kill Kaguya before her Expansive Truth-Seeking Orb can resolve the battle 279 281.
- Earth movement: Tu Xingsun’s Earth Release lets him pass through earth and stone without obstruction 246.
- Shadow Shuriken Technique: He multiplies thrown kunai into a barrage against Joker Gang gunmen 344.
- Summoning: He summons Smaug and travels on the dragon with Tsunade and Shisui 236.
- Orochinagi: A flame technique originating from Kyo Kusanagi in The King of Fighters 324.
- Expansive Truth-Seeking Orb: Obtained after defeating Kaguya 281.
Vitality and Poison Resistance
- The Uzumaki Constitution increases his vitality, healing rate, and chakra capacity 33.
- Shennong Physique neutralizes toxins that enter his body; Shennong Knowledge lets him identify poisons and work out antidote formulas 27.
