Story Role / Major Events
Arrival and Rivalry
At the academy entrance, Su Chen protects Old Jack from the gatekeeper and rejects Yu Xiaogang’s offer of mentorship. Yu then identifies Tang San’s twin Martial Souls and accepts him as a disciple 3 4.
Inside Dorm Seven, Su Chen defeats Xiao Wu and becomes the residents’ leader. Tang San challenges him under the claim of defending Xiao Wu, despite her insistence that she accepted Su Chen voluntarily. Su Chen defeats Tang San with one palm strike, injuring his right arm 5 6 7 8.
Yu Xiaogang’s Public Disgrace
Yu Xiaogang confronts Su Chen on a campus path over Tang San’s injuries. Before gathered students and instructors, Su Chen challenges Yu’s theories, accuses him of appropriating Spirit Hall research, and questions his intended use of Tang San as an experimental subject. Yu collapses, and Tang San’s confidence in his teacher begins to fracture 9 10.
After their forest expedition, Yu and Tang San return to the academy. Instructor Chen demands a demonstration, exposing Tang San’s ten-year white Soul Ring and brittle, withered Blue Silver Grass. Their public humiliation spreads throughout the academy 20 22.
Tang Hao’s Attack
Tang Hao secretly directs his Divine Slaughter’s Domain at Dorm Seven, intending to cripple or kill Su Chen. Su Chen shields Xiao Wu, while his Chaos Ancestral Dragon and Ancestral Dragon Reverse Scale counter the attack and shatter the domain. Tang Hao retreats 20 21.
Tang Hao subsequently enters Yu Xiaogang’s academy villa and brutally punishes him for abandoning Tang San and arranging his poor first Soul Ring. He leaves Yu alive to help shield Tang San from outside scrutiny 22.
