Background

Su Yan was born in Holy Soul Village and raised by an old farmer after being orphaned. He was a former Earthling reincarnated into the Douluo Continent, retaining knowledge of the setting and its future events. 2 859

Shortly after the Douluo World Chat Group appeared, Su Yan received a beginner gift pack containing the Nine Yang Divine Skill, Six Meridian Divine Sword, Lingbo Weibu, a Space Ring, and Martial Soul Evolution. The techniques were directly bestowed at maximum proficiency and increased his Soul Power. 1 2

His Martial Soul awakening produced only 0.25 innate Soul Power. The mutation nevertheless gave his monkey Martial Soul physical form and independent intelligence, distinguishing it from ordinary Beast Martial Souls.
