Background / History

Tang Hao earned a reputation for extraordinary aptitude and strength within the Clear Sky Sect. Before meeting Ye Tian, he voluntarily entered Slaughter City to improve his cultivation and hammer techniques. His experiences there helped him master the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer and Clear Sky Nine Absolutes, while completing its trials granted him Divine Slaughter’s Domain 19 23 24.

Tang Hao and Ah Yin had known each other for years and intended to marry. They returned to the place in the Star Dou Great Forest where Ah Yin had taken human form, preparing to hold their wedding there. Ye Tian, who had arranged a search for the couple through Bibi Dong, reached them on the planned wedding day 13 22 23.

Personality

Tang Hao is fiercely proud of his sect and Martial Soul. Confronted by Chrysanthemum Douluo, he invokes the Clear Sky Sect’s standing rather than backing down before a Titled Douluo. Ye Tian’s mockery of the Clear Sky Hammer wounds his pride, prompting him to escalate the fight in an attempt to regain face 23.

His anger overrides Ah Yin’s objections: when she tries to stop him from attacking an Auspicious Beast, he pushes her aside. After she ends their relationship, his panic turns into a determination to kill Ye Tian, whom he blames for making reconciliation impossible 23 24.

Tang Hao professes genuine love for Ah Yin and insists that she is the only woman he loves. He defends his actions in Slaughter City by claiming its inhabitants were all evildoers. Although his pursuit of strength is confirmed, Ye Tian’s separate accusation that he courted Ah Yin solely for her Soul Ring and Soul Bone is explicitly identified by the narration as a lie 24.
