Bibi Dong initially admires Yu Xiaogang without questioning his motives, even promising Spirit Hall’s resources to promote his theories. Her compassion repeatedly conflicts with her political ambitions. She feels guilty about making Li Ya take her place in Qian Xunji’s chamber, offers her a final opportunity to withdraw, and later demands that Li Ya’s life take priority during childbirth. Nevertheless, she accepts the substitution plan as a means of surviving and eventually reforming Spirit Hall 8 9 11.

She becomes more guarded and politically calculating without losing her emotional vulnerability. History

Meeting Ye Tian and Rejecting Yu Xiaogang

While accompanying Yu Xiaogang through the Star Dou Great Forest, Bibi Dong finds Ye Tian and mistakes the small Qilin for a puppy. Hearing his thoughts introduces doubts about Yu’s theories and affection. Ye Tian then shows her fragments of her original fate, including Qian Xunji’s assault and Yu’s subsequent relationship with Liu Erlong 1 2.

When Qilin Progenitor power lets her hear Yu’s private thoughts, she learns that he assembled his theories from ancient books and hopes to exploit her beauty, talent, and position. She strikes him, forbids him from calling her “Dong’er,” and spares him because of his family ties 2.

She subsequently becomes Ye Tian’s caretaker. At his insistence, the Titan Giant Ape brings her with him to the Lake of Life despite initially objecting to a human visitor. There she witnesses the powerful Soul Beasts’ reverence for Ye Tian and his bloodline exchange with Da Ming and Er Ming 3 4 5.

Evading Qian Xunji’s Secret-Chamber Scheme

Back in Spirit City, Ye Tian warns her that Qian Xunji is preparing to assault her. Rather than flee, she follows a substitution plan using Li Ya, a woman whose life she previously saved. Li Ya accepts the danger, and Bibi Dong recognizes her as a sister 7 8.

Bibi Dong pretends to drink Qian Xunji’s drugged tea. Ye Tian’s Silk Illusion makes him mistake Li Ya for her, allowing Bibi Dong to escape the assault. She then returns to perform the role of his victim, concealing the substitution while resolving to grow strong enough to make him pay 8 9.

When Li Ya becomes pregnant, Bibi Dong feigns pregnancy and keeps her nearby as a maid. During the difficult delivery, she asks Ye Tian to save Li Ya even if only one life can be preserved. He saves both mother and child, restores Li Ya’s earlier bodily state, and removes her memories of the ordeal. Bibi Dong poses as Qian Renxue’s birth mother 10 11.

Bibi Dong initially condemns Ye Tian for sparing Qian Xunji and altering Li Ya’s memories. After learning the severe cost and limitations of his fate-changing power, she apologizes and watches over him during three days of unconsciousness 12.

Cultivation and Public Independence

Over the following six years, Bibi Dong reaches Rank 81. When Ye Tian gains a child’s human form, she publicly introduces him as her disciple so he can remain beside her 13.

Yu Xiaogang later returns with his theoretical book, hoping to regain her affection. Qian Xunji makes her handling of the visit a test of whether she deserves greater freedom. She firmly rejects Yu, while Ye Tian organizes a public assessment that exposes the book’s flaws and borrowed material 14 15 16.

During the resulting uproar, Bibi Dong declares that Yu has been harassing her and forbids the crowd from killing him. Her apparent mercy increases her popularity. Qian Xunji accepts her rejection as genuine, lifts her restrictions, and grants her a real role in managing Spirit Hall 17 18 19.

Forest Hunt and Divine Inheritance

Bibi Dong travels with Ye Tian to obtain her eighth Soul Ring. Although Chrysanthemum Douluo follows under Qian Xunji’s orders, the pair detect him and use the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger encounter to reveal their strength 19 20 21.

After Chrysanthemum Douluo fails to defeat the tiger, Ye Tian suppresses it and temporarily boosts Bibi Dong to Level 90. She kills it, gains its ring for her second Martial Soul, and subsequently receives the Evil God Inheritance and an enhanced ring configuration for her first Martial Soul 21 22.

Ye Tian forcibly binds Chrysanthemum Douluo and orders him to recruit Ghost Douluo, kill Qian Xunji, and support Bibi Dong’s accession as Pope. These remain orders rather than completed political changes 22.

She then accompanies Ye Tian to confront Tang Hao and Ah Yin. During Tang Hao’s later attack, she and Chrysanthemum Douluo receive Ah Yin while Ye Tian fights 22 23 24.
