Background / History

Leng Yaozhu belongs to the Leng Family’s main line and is the foremost heir of her generation. By the time she meets Li Qingyue, she leads the family and possesses its greatest individual strength. The family maintains an extensive villa district within Shrek City and is one of the Spirit Pagoda’s three core families 6 10 11.

During their studies, Leng Yaozhu and her younger sister, Leng Yulai, were accompanied by Li Qingyue’s mother, a girl from a distant branch who initially served as little more than a maid. Years spent together made the three close. Even after the sisters completely fell out, Leng Yulai specifically asked Yaozhu to look after their former companion 6.

Li Qingyue’s mother later left the family, had a child with an outsider, and was murdered while returning to the Leng Family. Yaozhu investigated for a long time without finding a useful lead; she only saw the woman’s remains after the body was unearthed.
