Background / History

The Fatui’s early organization develops alongside Jiang Hao’s Clone settlement project near the Star Dou Great Forest. He assigns farming to Hoe Bro and Flame Bro, logistics to Owl Bro, and beast-taming support to Training Bro. The four also supervise the Thirty-Person Group and its scattered forest personnel 18.

By the time the convoy reaches Dragon City, both the Fatui and the Thirty-Person Group are wanted throughout the Dou Ling Empire. Jiang Hao avoids scrutiny by presenting the travelers as Soul Hall, a supposedly unrelated organization 46. The apparent separation between the Fatui and the Thirty-Person Group conceals their overlapping personnel 72.

Yan Shaozhe’s recruitment gives the Fatui a prominent Titled Douluo commander. Rather than let him retreat into the mountains with Ma Xiaotao, Owl Bro offers him the vacant First Harbinger position. Yan accepts on the condition that he personally supervise Xiaotao’s Evil Fire and uphold that she is not an Evil Soul Master 72.
