Overpower Mode was the full-firepower mode of the empire's latest generation of mechas.

It was an ultimate state designed solely to contend with top-tier Titled Douluo, comparable in nature to a Soul Master's Martial Soul Avatar.

The restraints on the mecha's top-grade soul guidance core were completely lifted. Every Soul Guidance Array throughout its body ran at breakneck speed under overload, pouring out all its stored energy.

The soul guidance crystal embedded deep within the core blazed with dazzling crimson light. A hazy, scorching red glow flowed like molten lava, instantly filling every gap in Crimson Typhoon's armor and every mechanical joint.

Scarlet flames erupted, and Overpower Mode's first effect appeared.

Dispel!

Every negative effect on the mecha and its pilot was dispelled. Slowing, increased gravity, delayed recovery, accelerated aging, dizziness, bleeding, poison—all of it was burned away by the flames.

Naturally, that included the effects of domain abilities.

The effect forcibly kept the mecha and its pilot in peak condition, unaffected by the surrounding environment.

So when that red light covered the mecha, the Silver Moon Domain that had enveloped Crimson Typhoon, thick as a swamp, could no longer affect it!

Its suppressed speed returned in an instant, then surged even higher.

Its sluggish joints moved smoothly again. The thrust and explosive force sealed by the domain were fully unleashed—and Overpower Mode doubled them beyond their original strength!

Along the coastline, wild winds whipped up towering waves. Crimson light pierced the sky, and flames roared through the air.

Silver Moon Douluo's pupils contracted, disbelief written across his face.

Crimson Typhoon shone like a miniature sun. It easily dodged Heaven-Destroying Douluo's charged strike, then swept its Blazing Flame Blade in a fiery arc straight at Silver Moon Douluo!

The ultimate slash of Overpower Mode sent Ultimate Fire streaking forth as a thin line of flame, tearing through space!

Silver Moon Douluo's ninth Soul Ring flickered. The next instant, his body merged completely into the bright moon behind him, and its shimmering moonlight became a surging sea!

Then the dense Frost Moon slowly rose into the air!

The line of flame slashed into the sea of moonlight, but it did not fade. Instead, it burned ever fiercer, carving furiously through the vast expanse.

The Silver Moon drove the power of Frost Moon, raising wave after wave of moonlight high enough to blot out the sky. They thundered like real breakers, trying to bury the strike beneath them!

Elsewhere, Crimson Typhoon used Overpower Mode's burst of speed to appear beside the enormous Purple Brilliant Heaven Destroying Dragon!

Crimson Soul Power surged into the Water God Cannon on his shoulder, its immense energy condensing into a fierce torrent of Ultimate Water!

The rushing attack crashed down like a sea pouring backward, striking Heaven-Destroying Douluo while the Silver Moon Domain left him unable to dodge in time!

"Aaah!"

It was nowhere near fatal, but it fully roused Heaven-Destroying Douluo's ferocity!

He and Silver Moon Douluo joined forces again, unleashing their nine Soul Rings in succession and steadily squeezing Crimson Typhoon's room to maneuver.

Overpower Mode was powerful, but these were two Titled Douluo—and formidable ones at that.

Crimson Typhoon had been designed to handle one Super Douluo. Holding its ground against a Super Douluo and a level-ninety-four Titled Douluo at once was already an impressive feat!

Every strike Heaven-Destroying Douluo launched carried the Purple Brilliant Heaven Destroying Dragon's destructive power. Crimson Typhoon did not dare take his attacks head-on and could only dodge;

Silver Moon Douluo's speed was just as troublesome. His moonlight could be soft or unyielding, and it came without end, leaving Ye Gucheng fighting in frustration.

Only Overpower Mode's explosive output and the mecha's mobility let Ye Gucheng barely hold his own, balancing attack and defense.

High in the sky, the image of a blazing sun slowly emerged. Scalding golden heat rolled in every direction, baking the air until it warped and shimmered.

An old man in a Blazing Sun Sacred Robe strode through the air. Soul Rings gleamed around him, and his pressure bore down, vast and heavy.

The Sun Moon Continent's third Titled Douluo, Blazing Sun Douluo, had arrived!

Blazing Sun Douluo joined the battle without a moment's hesitation. He, too, was a level-ninety-five Super Douluo, and he sealed off Crimson Typhoon's escape.

A powerful Titled Douluo now guarded each of the three directions. Fighting on was pointless, especially since Crimson Typhoon's internal Soul Power reserves were already exhausted.

At the center of the battlefield, Crimson Typhoon slowly lowered its blade. The crimson light covering its body began to dim.

Inside the cockpit, Ye Gucheng's eyes remained clear and his expression calm as ever. He showed no trace of fear or panic.

Surrounded by three Titled Douluo, he merely spoke. His voice rang through the mecha's speakers, carrying across heaven and earth, firm and ringing:

"All three Titled Douluo have arrived. I, Ye Gucheng, have indeed lost today.

"But I advise you to stop while you still can. Don't bring ruin upon yourselves."

His calm words spread across the three continents through the sky screen, setting off a torrent of comments.

Just then, a pressure so terrifying it stole the breath from their lungs descended from the far edge of the sky.

It carried blood-soaked ferocity and draconic might, as though an ancient Ferocious Beast had awakened. At the summit of the heavens, a crimson meteor tore through the clouds. The image of a scarlet dragon dozens of meters long swept closer, then spiraled down!

With pressure that threatened to crush everything, it slammed into the center of the battlefield.

The scarlet flames dispersed, revealing an old man in a crimson robe before them.

The white-haired old man hovered in the air, nine Soul Rings rising one after another behind him: yellow, purple, purple, black, black, black, black, black, red!

Under the sky screen's close-up, that ninth Soul Ring, crimson as blood, shone so fiercely it stole the breath away.
