Background / History

Azure Emperor began as an ordinary stalk of Blue Silver Grass. Approximately 100,000 years before the current events, he left the land and drifted out to sea. By 80,000 years ago, his body had grown to the size of an island, and people began settling upon it 1 16.

Blue Silver Continent took shape approximately 60,000 years ago. Its nations and sects were embroiled in conflict until Azure Emperor’s human incarnation unified the continent and established the Blue Silver Empire. The imperial Ye family descends directly from that incarnation 1.

After founding the empire, Ye Qing left a handbook outlining possible developments in mechas, Battle Armor, Soul Spirits, and Soul Core formation. Rather than providing complete designs, it described intended effects and fragmentary ideas for later researchers to develop. The handbook became the empire’s most closely guarded secret; mechas and Battle Armor emerged from its research over the following millennia, particularly within the past 20,000 years 8.

Imperial reconnaissance discovers an unknown continent directly in Blue Silver Continent’s path, with contact projected in five days. Azure Emperor identifies it as Sun Moon Continent, and Ye Wushuang appoints Ye Gucheng to lead the Wanderer fleet’s vanguard. A supernatural broadcast then exposes the encounter to all three continents 1.

Sun Moon officials attempt to seize Swift No. 1 for reverse engineering, then extend their ambitions to Crimson Typhoon. Ye Gucheng requests the aircraft’s release before the opposing Douluo attack. When three Titled Douluo corner his exhausted mecha, Red Dragon Douluo intervenes and subsequently defeats Xuan Fan 2 3 4 6 7 8.

The Sun Moon Empire deploys a large army and six additional Titled Douluo. The Wanderer answers with bombardment, killing or wounding more than a fifth of the force before its Level 9 shells defeat the two defending Limit Douluo.
