Background / History

Infiltration of the Heaven Dou Empire

Qian Renxue is the daughter of successive Spirit Hall popes Qian Xunji and Bibi Dong, and the granddaughter of Qian Daoliu. Her existence is initially known only to a small number of Spirit Hall elders and core leaders. She assassinated the real Xue Qinghe and assumed his identity, spending years seeking an opportunity to overthrow Heaven Dou and help Spirit Hall unite the continent 9 13 16.

As Xue Qinghe, she became Ning Fengzhi’s disciple. When the Sky Screen began revealing people’s backgrounds, she anticipated that it might expose her and arranged an escape route. Ning Rongrong’s Martial Soul evolution also prompted her to plan an assassination, since Rongrong’s improved support abilities could strengthen Heaven Dou 9 16.

Exposure and Recruitment

The Sky Screen names her sixth on the Background Ranking and publicly reveals her impersonation. Emperor Xue Ye orders her capture and places Heaven Dou on a war footing; Star Luo begins preparing to exploit the resulting instability. Qian Renxue reaches the border, but the forces gathered around Zi Tian Palace obstruct her escape toward Spirit Hall 16.

Her guards create a diversion, allowing her to flee into Zi Tian Palace under attack. Finding Ning Rongrong protected by Bone Douluo, she abandons an immediate attack and instead proposes bringing the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect into Spirit Hall. Zi Tian counters by inviting her to join his palace 17.

After receiving her divine transformation, Qian Renxue challenges Zi Tian to withstand three attacks. He offers her the deputy leadership position and promises to let her unite the continent if she can force him from his throne. Her strongest attack fails against his Void Annihilation, which leaves her near death. Zi Tian restores her with life energy; she accepts his welcome with a handshake and subsequently acknowledges her position as Deputy Palace Master 18 19 22.

Her Father’s Death

The next ranking reveals that Bibi Dong killed Qian Xunji. Devastated, Qian Renxue asks to leave the palace to seek an explanation. Zi Tian instead arranges for Bibi Dong to be brought to her, insisting that he will not abandon his deputy during a crisis 20 22 23.

Qian Renxue tearfully confronts her mother and refuses Zi Tian’s offer to summon Qian Daoliu as an alternative source of answers.
