Two days later, Xu Yi, Stille, Anise, and the ten elves selected earlier arrived at a small town outside the Black Rice Wasteland.
The town, called Samora, was also built beside the Sandy River and was the closest human town to the Black Rice Plateau.
Although humans now ruled almost the entire Sains Continent, the other races had not completely died out. Of them, the Orc Tribe had retained the greatest strength.
They could not possibly threaten human powers, but they could still hold on to a stretch of land of their own.
Of course, the Black Rice Wasteland held little value for the humans of the Sains Continent. It truly was a wasteland, without a single patch of arable land. No human nation would go out of its way to fight the Orc Tribe over such barren territory.

The two men, who had been waiting there, immediately came over to greet them.
"Sorry for the wait." Xu Yi's apology was, of course, directed mainly at President Reilsa.
President Reilsa was a burly man whose hearty laugh rang out like a bell.
