Located in the southwest of the Lampari Kingdom, Bunta City was the southernmost city in the kingdom, so summer always arrived earlier there than in the kingdom's other cities.
When Xu Yi had first arrived in Bunta City two years ago, it had been early June, yet the streets were already as hot as midsummer.
This year, too, the weather in Bunta City had quickly heated up as soon as June began.
However, this climate, which differed somewhat from that of the kingdom's other cities, also gave Bunta City a distinctive environment.

Unlike previous years, however, when the freshly picked fruit would immediately be sent to Bunta City for sale, or a little farther afield to nearby cities such as Karma City and Sartan City, this year the sand pears and star fruit harvested by Korol Village's residents went straight into the newly built Fruit Canning Factory on the edge of the village. They never even left the village.
Thanks to the establishment of the Fruit Canning Factory, the Xinfei Merchant Guild had purchased all of Korol Village's fruit at last year's market prices before it had even ripened, and all of it would be made into canned fruit.
