Xu Yi planned to introduce the same variety of models for household magic machinery.
For example, magic air conditioners currently came in two types: cooling-only magic air conditioners and heating and cooling magic air conditioners. When they were first released, Xu Yi had only established those two broad categories. But as the Magic Research Institute deepened its research into their magic arrays, it had become possible to adjust their cooling and heating output. Xu Yi therefore planned to classify them into several power ratings, as air conditioners were on Earth, to meet different needs.
The same classifications would be applied to other kinds of household magic machinery, which raised a problem.
If different models all used the same appearance, they would look far too monotonous.
Following the practice on Earth, different products naturally needed different appearances, not only to distinguish their models more clearly but also to offer greater visual variety.
This meant that Anise and Vivian, the two people currently responsible for exterior design at the Xinfei Merchant Guild, were no longer enough.
Vivian was still studying at Baron Rector Magic Academy and already had little time to work, leaving almost all the products' exterior design to Anise.
