There was no need to guess. The only company that could field a fleet of twenty Cargo Magic Locomotives to transport goods was the Feilson Carriage Company.
Since announcing the formation of a freight fleet composed entirely of Cargo Magic Locomotives, the Feilson Carriage Company had taken over almost all of Bunta City's freight business in less than a month.
Sakeqi had managed to secure this delivery to Karamay City from the Ireland United Merchant Guild partly because the shipment was too small to warrant hiring the Feilson Carriage Company. More importantly, Cantona had introduced him to Freeman, the president of the Ireland United Merchant Guild, and that connection had landed him the job.
Of course, the fact that his rates were lower than the Feilson Carriage Company's was another important reason.
Still, however one looked at it, a newcomer like Sakeqi, a small freight operator with just one Cargo Magic Locomotive, was nowhere near the Feilson Carriage Company's league.
For now, only the Feilson Carriage Company could handle bulk shipments like the one this fleet was carrying.
Sakeqi watched enviously as the impressive convoy drove past nearby, then slapped Bateru, who was still staring blankly, on the shoulder. "Come on, stop watching. Bateru, from now on, let's work hard together. After a few years, we'll buy another Cargo Magic Locomotive and earn a little more. We'll build up our fleet one vehicle at a time. Who knows? We might even open a respectable logistics merchant guild of our own."
Bateru nodded silently and glanced at the distant convoy again. Suddenly, he noticed a familiar emblem stamped on the cargo protruding from the back of the last Cargo Magic Locomotive.
"Huh? Everything on that convoy seems to belong to the Xinfei Merchant Guild. Are they finally coming to Karamay City
