When the Orks' green tide surged back into their old camp, the ruins they found left them stunned.
Crisscrossing makeshift trenches littered the ground around the perimeter. Even the partially melted walls of scrap metal had been mostly cut away.
The War Factory, which had already looked like a heap of garbage cobbled together, was now nothing but garbage.
Almost everything else had been torn to pieces.
"Where's the enemy?! I reckon they're all a bunch of cowards!"
Their leader was an Ork Warboss six or seven meters tall. He roared furiously at the deserted camp.
The Ork Boyz soon discovered the enormous Gorkanaut parked at the rear.
With no enemies to fight and vent his frustration on, the Ork Warboss had been taking it out on a few Gretchin. When a boy reported that a huge war machine remained at the rear, he practically jumped for joy.
Especially once the Gorkanaut came into view.
"I reckon this thing suits me just fine! This has gotta be one super WAAAAGH machine!"
The Warboss was overjoyed at the sight of the metal beast built in Gork's image.
Meanwhile, aboard the Cruiser that had been keeping the surface under optical observation from space, a Tech-Priest stood on the bridge with a Dataslate.
"Data analysis complete. The leader of the Orks below should be the large individual roaring atop the war machine. Confidence exceeds ninety-three percent. I believe this is an excellent time to detonate."
The Captain beside the Tech-Priest nodded silently.
The Ork Warboss, still roaring excitedly on the surface, and the hundreds of boyz around him became fragments scattered across the sky after an earth-shattering explosion.
The Ork Boyz a little farther away stared, dumbstruck, as their Boss was blown sky-high.
