Heart of the Corrupted Skadi said with mock seriousness, "So I read in that glowing little box that if you're being taken care of, you need good morning kisses and goodnight nibbles, or good morning nibbles and—"
"Hold on a second!"
Chen Ran interrupted Heart of the Corrupted Skadi and fell into thought.
He didn't even know which part to comment on first for a while.
Finally, Chen Ran asked, "When did you shove your little feet into my mouth? How come I don't know about it?"
... ... ...
... ...
He collected some of his harvest, checking the Terra (Sea Creature Line) planet model to see how many more believers it had gained and how much faith it had contributed.
He glanced at the petri dish, observing if the Sea Creatures, while ravenously eating, remembered to contribute any new abilities to their Lord God.
After finishing his morning routine and breakfast, Chen Ran sat down at his desk and began trying to handcraft a new planet model.
At the same time—
He listened to Heart of the Corrupted Skadi, who was sitting obediently on the edge of the fish tank, recounting how she had stuffed her black-stockinged feet into his mouth while he was sleeping last night.
"Go on," Chen Ran said.
"Like this."
As Chen Ran spoke, Heart of the Corrupted Skadi raised her black-stockinged feet, aimed them towards Chen Ran's mouth, and wiggled them.
It was as if she hadn't said anything, yet had said it all.
"Perhaps I didn't gauge the distance correctly and they fell into your mouth, Lord God, and you licked them, then spat them out. I was all wet, so I went to change."
Chen Ran probably thought some small bug had fallen into his mouth while he was asleep, and he had instinctively spat it out.
"However, Red T, you should be glad I don't have a habit of grinding my teeth."
024. Amiya has launched an attack on you
Whether it was because Heart of the Corrupted Skadi had only recently learned to act human and had a limited vocabulary, or if her clear yet slightly naive eyes truly appeared innocent.
In any case—
According to Heart of the Corrupted Skadi's description, Chen Ran had licked her, and she was left all wet.
But paired with her size, about 10 centimeters...
The image that flashed through Chen Ran's mind was him picking up his phone, opening his photo album, finding a picture of Heart of the Corrupted Skadi, and then licking the screen with his tongue.
It wasn't lewd at all, but rather hilariously absurd.
Besides, he didn't feel anything.
So after a long pause, Chen Ran sighed and said, "Don't do that kind of thing when I'm sleeping from now on."
After all, just a lick was fine, but if she were to grind her teeth or swallow him whole, that would be a much bigger problem.
"Okay."
Heart of the Corrupted Skadi heard him and obediently nodded her little head, "Then I'll do it when you're awake from now on."
Chen Ran: "?"
Was that what he meant?
Forget it.
Chen Ran didn't pursue the topic further, as a new planet model had already been hand-crafted by him.
"Since the first planet model was specifically marked as 'Sea Creature Line' by that semi-transparent pop-up box, it means that other world lines must exist."
"By extension, Kal'tsit on the Sea Creature Line was given the prefix 'Savior,' which might not be a joke, but rather to distinguish her from Kal'tsit in other world lines."
"Otherwise, if three or four Kal'tsits from different world lines were all crammed together, it would be impossible to tell them apart."
"So, just like 'Savior Cat,' could there also be 'Lost Cat' and 'Jail Cat'?"
Chen Ran said as he walked towards the center of the living room.
Just like last time, he placed the newly hand-crafted planet model on the floor.
Then he turned around and looked back.
The original planet model had turned into a real planet, complete with rotation and—
No, it wasn't rotating.
This new planet model seemed to be frozen in mid-air.
From the outside, the planet showed no continental plates, forests, or lakes. Instead, it resembled a black stone, exuding only a dead silence.
Perhaps sensing the strangeness of this planet, even Heart of the Corrupted Skadi, who had been sitting obediently on the edge of the fish tank, gently floated over and perched on Chen Ran's shoulder, her curious little eyes watching.
Chen Ran remained silent, only gazing at the planet.
As expected, a few seconds later, the semi-transparent pop-up box began to flicker above the planet:
"Terra"
"Detected native of planet: Amiya..."
"Amiya? Which worldline's Amiya? The normal one? Or the IF one?"
Having learned from the previous experience with this Heart of the Corrupted Skadi, Chen Ran didn't make any rash judgments.
Instead, he continued to wait, waiting until the semi-transparent pop-up box flickered several times—
"Amiya believes saving people with medicine cannot save Terra."
"All of Terra regards Amiya as a threat and dispatches troops to suppress her."
"The allied forces were crushed."
"Amiya, by herself, crushed all of Terra."
"Amiya halted everyone's thoughts, froze everyone's time, and sealed the entire planet in stasis."
"Amiya crushed one parallel worldline."
"Amiya crushed two parallel worldlines."
"Amiya..."
"Hoh, the Demon King Rabbit, huh?"
Upon seeing this Amiya's accomplishments, Chen Ran immediately knew which worldline of Terra this was.
Wearing a crown on her head and a veil on her face, the Demon King Rabbit who crushed all of Terra.
"But the first worldline was where Heart of the Corrupted Skadi crushed Terra, and the second worldline is where the Demon King Rabbit crushed Terra..."
"Are you guys all quite fond of world-ending events?"
"And Heart of the Corrupted Skadi represents the Sea Creatures, while the Demon King Rabbit represents Originium. Of the three great salvation plans, you two account for two, right?"
But Chen Ran remembered, wasn't this Demon King Rabbit supposed to be from unofficial history?
Can this also be considered a worldline?
While Chen Ran was still wondering, the semi-transparent pop-up box began to flicker again:
"Amiya discovered you."
"Amiya, in her audacity, took the initiative to attack you."
"It is recommended that you spank her."
... ... ...
... ...
In this worldline of the Demon King Rabbit, the Sarkaz race was completely annihilated.
But with the common enemy gone, what would the remaining nations of Terra do?
They wanted to profit from war, they wanted to enslave, they wanted benefits, they wanted resources, but what could they do without a good pretext for war?
That's right, if they didn't like a certain country, they could just falsely claim that country was 'Sarkaz.'
Then, under the banner of 'preventing Sarkaz restoration and for the peace of the land,' they could just go and crush that country.
As long as that country was crushed, wouldn't all the resources, benefits, and slaves be theirs?
Thus, the entire Terra fell into complete chaos.
They slandered each other as 'Sarkaz,' dispatched troops for suppression, and the nations descended into infighting.
And Amiya, because in this worldline the Sarkaz race had already perished, did not meet the Doctor, nor did she meet Kal'tsit.
Even many years later, Amiya finally learned that the dying Sarkaz she had only met once, whom she, out of kindness, wanted to save, was named Theresia.
And Theresia, seeing her kindness, gave her a small, black crown before she died, named "Continuance of Civilization."
Time flew by, and Amiya grew up. She chose to become a battlefield medic.
However, because the nations of Terra had fought each other to the death, even bombing field hospitals, Amiya, standing alone amidst mountains of corpses, came to understand that so-called kindness was meaningless.
Several years later, Amiya joined a special operations team as an accompanying medic.
The leader claimed that the team would search for the "secret to ending wars" and explored many underground ruins.
But during one exploration, the team was ambushed, and Amiya, wounded by an Originium shell, encountered the 'Preserver' of the Pre-Civilization when she was on the verge of death.
Amiya wanted to survive. She crawled into the Sarcophagus, and lay down.
In the Sarcophagus, Amiya met two deities.
One enveloped her in warm light, allowing her to know everything and freely access archives to find the crown of "Hope."
The other covered her with black stone, granting her the ability to arbitrarily change the properties of Originium, allowing her to assimilate and freeze whatever she saw with Originium, named "Authority."
Thus, Empowered by both "Hope" and "Authority"—
The Demon King Rabbit was thus born.
PS: PY "Arknights, You'll All Regret It For Life!"
025. The Demon King Rabbit and Heart of the Corrupted Skadi are fighting!
The crown of "Continuance of Civilization" and the "Authority" of Originium.
These two abilities complement each other, and it can be said that the fate of all of Terra now rests on Amiya's whim.
But even after becoming the Demon King Rabbit, Amiya did not abuse these two abilities, because she is good.
At first, Amiya did not show herself. She continued to silently fulfill her duty as a doctor—saving people.
Infected individuals on the brink of death from severe injuries would no longer die. Before their life force extinguished, a white light would appear, soothing their pain and giving them warmth.
Then, black Originium would cover and envelop their entire bodies, freezing their time in hopes of finding a way to treat them in the future, at which point they would be unfrozen and their lives saved.
However, as time went by and Amiya saved more and more people—
Amiya was shocked to discover that even though she was only saving people, in the mouths of these Terra people, she had become a threat, a demon, a Sarkaz.
These Terra people, who were fighting to the death one moment, united the next, turning their spears against Amiya.
After her surprise, Amiya felt a sense of comfort, still because she was good.
Amiya naively believed that if her existence could unite these Terra people and bring about lasting peace, then Amiya wouldn't mind becoming the Demon King Rabbit, a villainous boss.
But soon, Amiya realized she had thought too highly of these Terra people.
These Terra people had indeed united, but it was merely another excuse for them to oppress, enslave, and pursue their own interests.
Previously, these Terra people needed to resort to slander to start wars. Now that a Demon King Rabbit had appeared, couldn't these Terra people openly wage war?
