"Oh, I see."
Amiya seemed to have merely asked in passing. Once she got her answer, she said no more.
She had traveled through far too many Worldlines. She had seen too much and had long since become numb to it all.
She had not come to experience family or friendship. She had only come to watch the story unfold.
What did the NPCs in the story have to do with her? Amiya only cared whether the ending of this story would leave no one with a happy ending.
"In that case, Doctor Kal'tsit, could you show me the survivor camp here?"
Amiya floated gently into the air. "I'm rather curious about this story."
Kal'tsit: "... ..."
More than that, Kal'tsit was actually curious how, setting Heart of the Corrupted Skadi aside, Amiya could fly too.
There were three Divine Messengers. Two could fly, while one could only wriggle around on the ground. It was obvious at a glance who was real and who was fake.
"Fine." Kal'tsit did not care much about such trivial matters. After speaking, she turned around. "Some of the survivors may become rather emotional when they see you later. I hope you won't take it to heart."
After all, the so-called survivor camp had originally been built under Rhodes Island's leadership, so naturally the survivors would not find Amiya unfamiliar.
"Ah... like how you reacted when you saw me just now, Doctor Kal'tsit?" Amiya asked.
Kal'tsit: "... ..."

So much so that when Amiya first heard Chen Ran mention the Sea Creatures ending the world,
her first reaction had been that those little ones, who had always been so obedient, could actually get angry too?
"So I'm very curious." Amiya floated before Kal'tsit, her expression utterly sincere. "Just what did the people of your Worldline do to make that happen?"

After sending Demon King Rabbit into that planetary model, Chen Ran withdrew his hand and muttered, "No... why did that sound like I was sending my daughter off to kindergarten?"
Fortunately, before Chen Ran could dwell on it any longer, the crunching sounds from his shoulder caught his attention.
When he turned his head, he saw Heart of the Corrupted Skadi sitting on his shoulder, having already cracked open the walnut from earlier.
"Your teeth are pretty good," Chen Ran remarked.
The moment Heart of the Corrupted Skadi heard that, she first looked at the walnut in her hand, its flesh exposed, then at Chen Ran.
Then, with a grief-stricken expression, Heart of the Corrupted Skadi offered the walnut to Chen Ran.
"No need, no need. I'm not so low that I'd steal your food."
Chen Ran waved his hand, finding the whole thing rather amusing.
Seeing Heart of the Corrupted Skadi happily resume gnawing on the walnut like a little squirrel, Chen Ran turned and walked over to the desk.
"So what exactly did that Little Rabbit search for just now? Why did she suddenly become even more respectful toward me?"
Chen Ran reached out and picked up the phone on the desk.
He lit up the screen and checked the browsing history.
He found that Demon King Rabbit, Amiya, had indeed typed her own name into the search bar at first.
And then there was nothing after that.
"So what was wrong with that search entry?"
Naturally, Chen Ran tried tapping the search bar himself. After typing in the three characters for "Amiya"--

"Related search: Is Amiya a rabbit or a donkey?"
"... ..."
"Well damn, I think I know why that Little Rabbit didn't keep searching."
From Amiya's perspective, she might have thought he was making fun of her.
She wanted to ask how to awaken and save the world, Lord God told her to search for it herself, and what came up was this nonsense?
Wasn't that just like certain teachers saying, "If there's anything you don't understand, feel free to ask me,"

"Alright, Red T, play by yourself for a while. I'm going to sort something out." Chen Ran waved and turned to leave.
Heart of the Corrupted Skadi, sitting on the desk and gnawing on her walnut, also raised her little hand and waved.
But once Chen Ran had left the living room, Heart of the Corrupted Skadi tossed the walnut into the fish tank, floated over, picked up her phone, and began scrolling.
Yet as she scrolled, the Youth Mode prompt that popped up on the screen made her little face fall.
As though she had instantly graduated from being an internet-addicted girl, Heart of the Corrupted Skadi lost all interest in the phone. After tossing it aside, she fished the walnut out of the aquarium and continued gnawing on it for fun.
Much later, when Chen Ran returned carrying several large and small boxes, he looked somewhat surprised. "It's rare not to see you playing on your phone, Red T. What's wrong? Are you really more interested in food after all?"
After all, with those freeloading Sea Creatures as a reference, Chen Ran had subconsciously assumed that Heart of the Corrupted Skadi was simply more interested in food.
Not that Youth Mode had prevented Heart of the Corrupted Skadi from seeing certain things on her phone.

"Lord God."
When Heart of the Corrupted Skadi saw Chen Ran return, she hugged her walnut and floated up, skillfully and naturally settling onto Chen Ran's shoulder.
Then she lowered her head and looked at the large and small boxes Chen Ran had brought back.
"Lord God, what are these?"
"I got some things for that Little Rabbit," Chen Ran replied.
Heart of the Corrupted Skadi blinked her little eyes. "Is there nothing for me?"
"You have some."
As he spoke, Chen Ran began unpacking the boxes.
First, he took out a whole box of Barbie-doll-sized clothes. When he opened it, they turned out to be all of Amiya's classic outfits from the game.
Clothes... Heart of the Corrupted Skadi nodded her little head. She did indeed have those.
Then he took out a tiny princess bed and placed it beside Heart of the Corrupted Skadi's bed.
Heart of the Corrupted Skadi nodded again. She had that too.
Finally, Chen Ran took out several wooden boards.
Once assembled, they became a miniature castle, like the kind used when children played house.
"I don't have that!" Heart of the Corrupted Skadi immediately spoke up.
"This is for you and that Little Rabbit to live in together."
Chen Ran looked at the little castle. Though it was called little, once assembled, it was nearly taller than he was. He nodded in satisfaction.
Heart of the Corrupted Skadi had been the first one he brought here. At the time, he had not been mentally prepared, so he had simply given her things whenever he thought of them.
Now that he had experience, he had decided to outfit Amiya all at once.
As for what else she might need... he could think about that later.
For example, Chen Ran was rather curious right now whether Heart of the Corrupted Skadi and Demon King Rabbit, one being a Sea Creature and the other being Originium... needed to use the toilet.
As Chen Ran was wondering about that, Heart of the Corrupted Skadi floated up from his shoulder and drifted over to the little castle. She opened the little door and went inside for a look around.
After coming back out, Heart of the Corrupted Skadi floated straight over to Chen Ran and stared at him with her little eyes.
"What is it?"
Chen Ran reached out, grabbed Heart of the Corrupted Skadi by the back of her neck, and pulled her a little farther away so he would not go cross-eyed.
Yet Heart of the Corrupted Skadi said nothing. Dangling there like that, she looked exactly like a little kitten that had lost her canned food and lost all hope.
Chen Ran's emotional intelligence was not exactly nonexistent...
But when it came to Sea Creatures, human emotional intelligence probably did not apply at all.
So after thinking it over, Chen Ran took a bag of small cookies from his pocket and stuffed it into Heart of the Corrupted Skadi's arms. "Here, these are for you."
Seeing that Heart of the Corrupted Skadi still looked like she had lost all her dreams, Chen Ran added, "Take them. That Little Rabbit doesn't have these. They're only for you, Red T."
The instant Heart of the Corrupted Skadi heard that, her little eyes lit up.
"Really?"
"Really, really."
So Heart of the Corrupted Skadi hugged her cookies and happily sat on Chen Ran's shoulder.
"Competing for favor, huh?" Chen Ran understood instantly. "I should've turned on Youth Mode for your phone earlier. What exactly have you been watching?"
If this competition for favor had been the romantic kind, Chen Ran would not have said much.
But the way Heart of the Corrupted Skadi was acting was more like having a cat at home, then going to a cat café to play for a while. When you returned, the cat at home would hiss at you.
So in the end, after Heart of the Corrupted Skadi had finished the whole bag of cookies, Chen Ran reached out and poked her little belly.
"That bag of cookies was bigger than your whole body. You ate it all, so why isn't your belly bulging at all?"
Looks like it had quite the capacity.
If it could fit so many cookies inside, then what about other things?
As Chen Ran thought this, he poked Heart of the Corrupted Skadi's little belly a few more times, until she raised her head and looked at him with a puzzled expression.
