After downing a bottle of Acromantula Venom, Charle's mind was immediately filled with a barrage of Deep Blue notifications.
"Deduction Point +100..."
"Deduction Point +100..."
Even as the notifications rang out, Charle showed no intention of stopping.
He stuffed the Unicorn Horn into his mouth as well.
The Dragon Heart was too large, so Charle used the Laser Spell to cut it into several pieces before swallowing them one bite at a time.
Next, Charle lined up the black wizards' Wands in a long row and slurped them all down like a bowl of longevity noodles.
He did not even blink at the dangerous Magical Items scattered across the floor. Aside from the Hand of Glory, which he intended to study further to continue deducing the Lumos spell, he devoured every other Magical Item with sweeping voracity.
When the last Magical Item disappeared into Charle's mouth, the Deep Blue notifications in his mind finally stopped.
The rapidly rising total number of Deduction Points gradually came to a halt, finally settling at three hundred thousand!
Looking at this unprecedented number, Charle's eyes shone with wild delight.
Ever since entering the Wizarding World, this was the first time he had possessed so many Deduction Points.
Murder and arson really did make one rich. The ancients had not lied!
However, based on Charle's previous experiences deducing spells, completing three deductions for a more advanced spell generally required close to a million points.
Transfiguration would likely be no exception. Three hundred thousand points were still some distance away from three deductions.
But Charle happened to have Tonks, the Wizarding World's only Metamorphmagus. She was born with some of the traits of Animagus Transformation.
According to the Deep Blue System's assessment, she counted as extremely precious high-grade material. The material obtained from her could greatly reduce the Deduction Points required for Animagus Transformation.
Three hundred thousand, plus Tonks, should be enough.
Charle stood and entered one of the rooms in the suite.
When they had first returned, to prevent Tonks from seeing him devour Acromantula Venom, Dragon Heart, and so many dangerous Magical Items, he had locked her directly inside the room.
And now, it was time for the final harvest.
When Tonks, who had been locked in the room, saw Charle arrive, panic appeared in her eyes.
This young wizard was simply too unpredictable in his actions. She had no idea what Charle intended to do to her.
Then Charle raised his Wand at Tonks, untied the rope stuffing her mouth, and said coldly, "Use your Metamorphmagus ability. Transform for me."
"When you satisfy me, I'll let you leave."
Tonks's eyes widened.
What exactly did Charle want?
He had gone through all the trouble of bringing her back just to make her use her Metamorphmagus ability?
After a moment, Tonks gritted her teeth. "I'm an Auror. You can't treat me like this."
"Charle, you're already suspected of kidnapping. First robbery, now kidnapping. You're still a child—you can't keep going further down the wrong path..."
Charle took a deep breath, impatience appearing in his eyes.
He was not really a child. His values had long since taken shape, and he had no time for this kind of moral lecture.
If Tonks had not been fairly decent—if she had not tried to protect him when they were surrounded by black wizards—then merely for her stalking and following him, Charle would not have gone easy on her.
Charle said coldly, "Do you know why Borgin at Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley bowed his head and agreed to hand over several valuable Magical Items to me?"
He stepped closer to Tonks one step at a time, speaking words that left her mind blank.
"Because I threatened Borgin. If he didn't offer up something worthwhile, I'd splash shit all over his shop, photograph the entire thing, and send the pictures to newspapers like the Daily Prophet."
"I have photos of you being subdued by black wizards, planted in a swamp by me, and tied up like a trussed chicken."
"Senior Tonks, right? You'd better obediently do as I say and demonstrate your Metamorphmagus abilities with everything you have. If you do, I guarantee these photos will never get out. Otherwise..."
"Are you afraid of what Borgin is afraid of?"
Once Tonks understood what Charle meant, her face turned deathly pale. She let out a scream and completely gave up trying to persuade him.
"Don't!"
"I'll do it! I'll do it!"
Then, under Charle's Wand, Tonks activated her Metamorphmagus ability. Her pink hair gradually turned fiery red.
Her pupils turned an icy blue.
Charle stared intently at Tonks as a Deep Blue notification sounded in his mind.
"The host has obtained Metamorphmagus material. The Deduction Point costs for the second and third deductions of Animagus Transformation will be greatly reduced."
"Please continue obtaining more Metamorphmagus material."
So Charle repeatedly urged Tonks on.
"Put more effort into it. Change your face shape too."
"I have celebrity posters here. Transform into each of them one by one according to the pictures."
"What about your figure? Can you change that too?"
"..."
Each time Tonks transformed, Charle's hands slowly moved over her face and body, feeling the strange reactions as her body changed under the influence of magic.
Charle had gained some understanding of the Metamorphmagus ability.
No wonder it was called an Accio. It really did share similarities with traditional Animagus Transformation.
The difference was that traditional Accio transformed the entire body into an animal, while Metamorphmagus could not become animals and could only freely alter one's appearance, physique, and so on.
But its value as a reference was exceptionally high. If traditional Accio could transform as freely as Metamorphmagus—
For example, freely shifting among countless animals such as brown bears, wolves, birds, and more—then its applications would undoubtedly be far broader.
Furthermore, Metamorphmagus transformations were extremely stable, stable enough to be passed down to descendants through bloodlines.
This trait related to magical inheritance also held immense value as a reference for Magical Animagus, whose goal was to transform into Magical Creatures.
After Charle's palms roamed over Tonks's body several times, the Deep Blue notifications finally ceased.
This meant Deep Blue had finished collecting all the Metamorphmagus material.
Charle checked once again how many points were needed for the second deduction of Transfiguration toward the Animagus direction.
The cost had dropped from the original fifty thousand points to twenty thousand.
And the costs for the subsequent third deduction would decrease as well!
Charle took a deep breath, anticipation appearing in his eyes.
Three hundred thousand points were enough for two consecutive deductions!
At that moment, a flush spread across Tonks's face. The way she looked at Charle was filled with humiliation and fury.
During the material collection process, he had felt every inch of her body several times without restraint!
Tonks wanted nothing more than to bite a chunk of flesh off Charle.
How could a young wizard who had not even started school yet be so awful?!
Feeling Tonks's gaze, Charle seemed to recall something at last.
He removed his hand from her body.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to. I just wanted to feel the process of Metamorphmagus more clearly."
Tonks glared at Charle.
"As if I'd believe that!"
"Charle, I'm telling you, I'll fight you! This isn't over between us..."
Before she could finish, a dull thud rang out.
Charle withdrew his sturdy Mithril Wand and apologized to the unconscious Tonks on the floor.
"Sorry, I don't have points to waste on the Stunning Spell, and I don't have time to argue with you, so I could only use this physical Stunning Spell. Still, the effect looks pretty good."
Then he tied Tonks up securely again and locked her in the room, lest she disturb him later.
After doing all that, Charle clenched his fists and said in his mind, "Deep Blue, Transfiguration—Animagus direction..."
"Deduce it for me!"
