After seeing the new Eye Power of Sasuke's Rinnegan, his friends and family had their curiosity thoroughly satisfied.
All except Tobirama Senju.
"Sasuke Uchiha, you've disguised yourself quite cleverly. You're an Uchiha filled with evil to your very bones, yet none of it shows in your chakra."
Sasuke said evenly, "Second Hokage, you can stop trying to provoke me. I won't give you the reaction you're hoping for."
"Oh?" Tobirama raised an eyebrow. "You can even see through my intentions. That alone shows just how evil you are."
"Say whatever you like."
"Oh? Now you're all calm and composed. What sort of malice drove you when you attacked my head just now? Would you mind explaining?"
"I, Sasuke, have never needed to explain my actions to anyone."
"Hmm?" Watching Sasuke walk away without so much as looking back, Tobirama actually fell into a momentary... daze.
How could he not know just how heavy a mission Sasuke now bore?
He simply couldn't accept it... The one shouldering that mission was not a successor of the Senju, but an Uchiha whom he and Konoha had once cast aside.
"Damn it. The brat really did pull that off..."
He stopped inviting further embarrassment and turned his gaze toward Orochimaru.
"Orochimaru, Monkey's and Danzo's souls are in the Shinigami's belly too, aren't they?"
Orochimaru smiled. "It's no longer the Shinigami, but its Reversal Body, Ikukishin. Well... if necessary, I can still reverse the transformation."
Tobirama folded his arms across his chest. "That makes no difference. Release Monkey's and Danzo's souls. I have some questions for them."
Sasuke stopped and glanced at Tobirama out of the corner of his eye, smiling helplessly to himself. This fellow really knows how to steal the spotlight.
Orochimaru said, "I can, but I'll need to ask Sasuke-kun's permission first.
