While Qingyun checked on his many disciples, events were unfolding in Iwagakure.

"You little bastard! Deidara, get back here! How many times have I told you not to test your bombs inside the village?"
"Bleh, bleh, bleh! You old geezer, you really don't understand art. With fireworks this beautiful, shouldn't we let the villagers enjoy them too?"
Deidara used the Body Flicker Technique while looking back and making faces at Ōnoki in the sky.
"You little bastard! I won't let you off easily today!"
With that, Ōnoki channeled his chakra and stopped holding back, unleashing the Earth Release: Golem Technique.
"Art is an explosion! C4, explode! Ha!!"
Seeing that Ōnoki was getting serious, Deidara immediately stopped taking things lightly. He pulled out a handful of explosive clay and chewed it in his mouth, then sent spiders flying toward the stone giant. As they approached it, they erupted in a series of explosions that caught the Iwagakure villagers on either side in the blasts.
"You little bastard! Deidara, stop right there!"
Seeing the destruction Deidara had caused, Ōnoki's expression darkened. His face flushed as he glared at Deidara, seething with rage. He sped up and flew in front of Deidara, sending a huge stone arm reaching for him.
Deidara immediately fashioned a bird out of explosive clay, which carried him toward the outskirts of Iwagakure at top speed.
Before Deidara could fly out of the village, however, Ōnoki intercepted him. The two fought three hundred exchanges in the sky. Unable to use the techniques Qingyun had taught him, Deidara finally ran out of strength and was captured by Ōnoki, who then locked him in prison.
Deidara sat on the prison bed with his head propped in his hands, boredom in his eyes. "Ah!!! This is so boring! Come to think
