Qingyun brought Shion over to the others and looked at Kushina and Tsunade. After years apart, both women were overwhelmed with excitement. They had countless things they wanted to say, but now that Qingyun was suddenly standing before them, neither knew where to begin. All they could do was throw themselves into his arms, hugging him tightly from either side.
Qingyun wrapped his arms around Kushina and Tsunade. "Thank you for everything!"
Ever since he had gotten together with Tsunade and Kushina, he had either been in seclusion or on his way into it. He had barely even looked after his daughter, Shion. Only because Kushina and Tsunade took care of everything could he stop worrying about matters at home, and that had always left Qingyun feeling guilty toward them.
"All that matters is that you're out of seclusion. It wasn't any trouble. Your disciples are all very sensible, and Shion hasn't been as mischievous these past few years as she used to be. We've had very little to worry about!"
Tsunade was older, after all. Like Kushina, she had thrown herself at Qingyun without caring about the people around them, but that had simply been her way of expressing how much she had missed him over the years. Now that she had calmed down a little, she was the first to regain her composure.
"Qingyun, you won't go into seclusion for years like that again, will you?"
After hearing Tsunade's words, Kushina raised her head and gazed at Qingyun, asking in a soft voice.
"No. My strength has reached a bottleneck now. To make another major breakthrough, I'll need a new cultivation technique. I won't be going into seclusion anytime soon, so I can spend some proper time with you!
