Qingyun watched the primitive man drag the Fierce Beast's corpse away, his departing figure brimming with joy. He smiled faintly as a warmth unlike anything he had ever felt rose in his heart.

"Qingyun, why do we feel like you're so happy? Is it because they resemble the people from your homeland?"

Tsunade and the others had remained hidden near Qingyun. They had seen him say things to the primitive man that they could not understand, and his smile had never faded since he first spotted the man. They immediately asked him about it.

"Yes. They may be the first humans born in the ancient days of my homeland. As for that man, I suspect he might be the one who gave humanity its first glimmer of light."

Hearing their question, Qingyun did not turn around. He gazed into the distance, watching the primitive man drag the charred Fierce Beast's corpse back to his tribe. The man chattered excitedly, then taught the other primitive people how to make fire with a wooden drill.

Once all of them had learned to make fire, the wind and clouds overhead suddenly changed. An immense, intangible energy then poured into the man who had taught them all.

The primitive man who received the fortune of heaven and earth merely felt much stronger and wonderfully at ease. He scratched the back of his head and looked around, bewildered. Deciding that he must have imagined it, he gave it no further thought and went back to playing with his Clan Members.

Early the next morning, the primitive man opened his bleary eyes and glanced at the sky outside. He hurriedly got up, left the cave, and raced toward the place where he had met Qingyun the day before.

"D-divine immortal, I'm here!"

He saw Qingyun facing
