"How are things on the other battlefields?" Dave asked Danzo.
"On the Kirigakure front... a complete slaughter... Lord Madara and Lord Izuna fought three thousand men two days ago... all three thousand were wiped out..." Danzo swallowed...
"Damn, so is the Kirigakure front all sorted out?" Dave asked in surprise.
"Yes. Kirigakure is now caught between two enemies. Hozuki Gengetsu is still locked in a fierce struggle with Mu, Iwagakure's Tsuchikage. Apparently, they've agreed to a duel on the afternoon three days from now. Hozuki Gengetsu can't afford to keep dragging things out with Iwagakure. He's heard about Lord Madara's battlefield, so he's probably getting desperate too. Their duel will likely decide Kirigakure's fate in this war."
"As for Lord Second, things in Kumogakure have gotten complicated. It's hard to say. They're having internal problems. Lord Second is still maneuvering against Kumogakure, and their stance remains unclear," Danzo continued.
"Damn, that won't do! The fighting hasn't even lasted a month! Kakuzu, grab our stuff. We haven't made enough money yet!" Dave couldn't accept what he was hearing. They hadn't made enough money yet.
"What about Sunagakure? Do the six of us keep stalling them?" Hiruzen asked in confusion.
"Shamon won't dare make any rash moves right now. He just lost eighteen hundred men. How's he supposed to fight? They only brought eight thousand troops in total. He's probably still agonizing over it. We'll make our money fast. Let's go, Kakuzu! Contact the Second if anything happens here. I've brought his Flying Thunder God marker."
On a dark and windy night, Ormo and Blade set out once again.
"Who are we scamming this time—ptui, who are we selling to?" Kakuzu asked in confusion.
"Kirigakure." Dave had already decided.
"...Haven't they suffered enough already...? We're still going to scam them...?" Kakuzu swallowed...
