That night, the Medical Department was packed again.
The women doing Square Dance on the East Side of the village could all see figures flying into the sky.
And this time, even their Lord Hokage wasn't spared...
The next Heaven.
Hashirama left the hospital and declared that Pole Dance would be banned in Konoha. No villager was allowed to perform it in private, and Pole Dance also became the first dance to make it into the Scroll of Seals...
There was no helping it. This dance was far too powerful—even he couldn't handle it. The image of Madara Uchiha in Black Stockings last night still lingered in his mind... so what chance did those innocent, adorable Villagers stand?
Uncle Madara didn't say anything either. He also intended to put this dance into Sealing. Thinking about what he'd done last night made him want to beat Dave to death. It was too humiliating...
After seeing that Hashirama was all right the next day, Uncle Madara left Konoha to continue searching the Shinobi World for supplements that could increase Dave's Chakra.
At Orochiroku's place.
"Brother Roku, did you call me over because you need more funding, or is it something else?" Dave asked helplessly as he looked at Orochiroku, who was engrossed in his research.
"We're not short on funding right now. Those Games you mentioned that could be installed on phones are ready." Orochiroku tossed Dave several data blocks without turning around.
"Right. Don't work yourself too hard, either. Go home and see Tamaki more when you have time. You leave her home alone every day—you're practically making her live like a widow." Dave caught them and looked helplessly at Orochiroku, whose dark circles made him look like a giant panda.
"...What do you think about Tamaki and me selling our house and building another one next door?" Orochiroku paused, then answered with a question of his own.
He did feel guilty toward Tamaki. She'd married him, yet he spent very little time with her, and often needed her to take care of him instead.
"...But the land next door belongs to other Villagers. Would they sell it to you so you can build a house?" Dave rubbed his forehead.
"I'll just offer more Ryo. I've already got close to a million Ryo to my name. Do you think I'd miss that little bit of money?" Orochiroku looked at Dave as if he were an idiot.
"...Fine... do whatever you think is best... Just take care of yourself. You're only in your teens. Don't make yourself look decades older. I'm off." Dave waved helplessly and left.
He'd forgotten that this guy was the richest person around besides himself... He'd originally promised Orochiroku fifteen percent of the proceeds from anything he developed, and by now Orochiroku had at least a million Ryo.
Dave left and headed toward the Love Kidney Phone Shop in the center of Konoha.
"Uncle Wei, Aunt Cai." Dave walked into the shop and greeted Might Wei, who was still locked in battle with the windows.
"Hey! Little Boss! How about a window-cleaning challenge bursting with youthful passion? The loser has to clean every pane of Glass in the shop another thousand times!" Might Wei gave him a thumbs-up and shouted enthusiastically.
"Ignore him, little Boss. What brings you here today?" Aunt Cai rolled her eyes at Might Wei and turned to ask Dave.
Since the Love Kidney Phone Shop needed a sales assistant, Might Wei had brought his wife along earlier, and Dave called her Aunt Cai. She was an excellent sales assistant, too. In just one month, she'd achieved the staggering sales figure of two thousand phones.
"Yes, Aunt Cai. These data blocks contain things you can install on phones, just like Love Kidney Music. I'll put a notice outside in a bit. If any customer wants them installed, just help them do it. Twenty Ryo each." Dave nodded and handed her the data blocks.
Aunt Cai nodded, took the data blocks, and placed them beside the Love Kidney Music data block.
The next Heaven, during a break at the Ninja Academy.
"Kagami, what are you playing?" The chubby Torifu Akimichi looked at the phone in Kagami's hands. On its screen, a little snake kept moving around inside a box. He asked in confusion.
"It's a phone game called Snake. It's pretty fun." Kagami nodded and explained.
"A phone Game? What's that?" Torifu asked, puzzled.
"Well, the Phone Shop just posted a notice yesterday. They're little games to pass the time. There are five in total, and each costs twenty taels to install. Here, take Snake, for example. You control this little snake and eat these things inside the box. Every time it eats one, it gets a little longer and you earn a point. If its head hits its tail or the edges of the box, it dies, and the game ends," Kagami explained.
"That sounds really interesting. How many points have you scored?" Torifu's eyes lit up as he listened.
"My best score is only forty-five so far. There's a leaderboard in the Game, too. First place is someone called 'Hashirama Senju's eternal rival,' with a hundred and twenty-four points. Second is 'Belly Dance Forever the God,' with ninety. Third is someone called 'Protect Konoha,' with sixty-seven, and fourth is 'Will of Fire,' with sixty. I'm sixth." Kagami Uchiha smiled as he explained the rankings.
"Those two in first and second have taken the top two spots in all five Games. 'Hashirama Senju's eternal rival' is first in three Games and second in two. 'Belly Dance Forever the God' is first in two and second in three. They're amazing," Kagami said admiringly.
He knew how difficult these Games were to play, despite how simple they looked. In Snake, eating forty or fifty items was already enough to fill nearly half the box. Yet even under those conditions, the person in first place had managed to score a hundred and twenty-four.
"Wow, that's amazing. I want to play, too! We're on break now, so come with me. Let's hurry to the Phone Shop and get one installed for me," Torifu Akimichi said, his little eyes shining. Before Kagami could say anything, he grabbed him and ran off.
Inside the Hokage Office.
"Madara, you're the one in first place in those three Games and second in the other two, aren't you?" Hashirama Senju called Madara and asked in a low voice.
His face was full of defiance.
"Hmph, so what if I am, Hashirama? Hahahaha! I win again!" Madara's mocking laughter came through the phone.
"You bastard! Just you wait! I'll beat you for sure!" Hashirama pulled the phone away from his ear and held it to his mouth, roaring furiously. Once he'd finished, he hung up.
He opened Snake and began a day's hard work. Tobirama watched his older brother throwing himself into the game, his face clouded with worry... He was deeply concerned about Konoha's future...
Elsewhere, with Madara.
Madara rubbed his ear. That's just like you, Hashirama Senju... He kicked a branch out of his path, a smile spreading across his face. This time, I won.
