Helping Uncle Madara awaken the Rinnegan

A month later, in the Uchiha Clan Compound.

"Uncle Madara, when was the last time you went to Naka Shrine?" Dave asked after finding Madara Uchiha.

"Naka Shrine? How do you know about that place?" Madara asked in confusion.

Naka Shrine was the Uchiha Clan's gathering place. Whenever there was a clan meeting or some other event in the compound, the clan members would usually assemble there. A stone tablet was also kept there.

Dave had sought Madara out today to tell him that Black Zetsu had tampered with that stone tablet. He absolutely could not let Madara do something foolish and believe that thing.

"Black Zetsu told me. There's a stone tablet beneath the shrine too, right? I'm sure you've read it. Do you believe what it says?" Dave asked cautiously.

"...I have read it... I used to wonder whether I should believe it, but... after Izuna came back to life, I stopped thinking about those things," Madara said slowly after a brief silence.
