After learning that the Land of Water and the Land of Wind had both been dealt with, Orochimaru wondered what agreement bound Edo Madara to Hokage Madara.

• Kiyomori learned that all the ships along the Capital's shore had disappeared, then panicked as dense mist engulfed the Imperial City.
• Zabuza and Haku cornered Kiyomori and threatened him until he signed documents ending the conflict with Kirigakure, appointing them as his bodyguards, and ordering Kirigakure's forces to join Konoha in the Land of Fire.
• Zabuza and Haku forced Kiyomori to read the documents, and he realized that Hokage Madara had trapped him with no way to escape.
• Hokage Madara brought Kiyomori and the Land of Water's senior officials to the Land of Fire, while Kirigakure's army headed there as well.
• Yuanxin and Shinhiko praised Hokage Madara's actions, and Orochimaru received his message that the Land of Water and the Land of Wind had both been dealt with.

Edo Madara decided to attack the Land of Lightning, while Black Zetsu urged him to target Konoha and recover the Rinnegan. At the Land of Lightning’s palace, the Fourth Raikage confronted the reanimated Third Raikage, controlled by Kabuto Yakushi.

• Edo Madara told Orochimaru and the others that they would target the Land of Lightning, and he questioned Black Zetsu’s insistence on reviving Madara quickly.
• Orochimaru argued that attacking the Land of Lightning and the Land of Earth would prevent them from joining Konoha and forming another alliance.

Kabuto and three Kage trapped the Fourth Raikage and Kumogakure’s elite unit in a thick mist at the Land of Lightning’s imperial palace. The Fourth Raikage ordered his subordinates to escape and named Darui his successor, but the Second Hokage killed C as the assault continued.

• The Second Tsuchikage appeared among the nobles and subdued them while the Fourth Raikage ordered C to take Mabui and Darui back to Kumogakure for reinforcements.

• Mabui warned the Fourth Raikage before the Second Tsuchikage’s Dust Release reduced her to atoms, and the Raikage fled toward Kumogakure.
• The Second Hokage intercepted the Fourth Raikage, but the First arrived and knocked him back with a powerful punch.
• Kabuto told the Fourth Raikage that Madara and Orochimaru had gone to Iwagakure and that strong fighters were attacking Kumogakure.

• Deidara returned to Sasori and reported that the civilians had been evacuated while the remaining Kumogakure ninja continued fighting.
• Sasori’s weapon poisoned Tsukiyo Raisan, and Sasori gave Deidara permission to detonate the bombs he had planted throughout Kumogakure.
• Deidara’s chain of explosions reduced Kumogakure to rubble, leaving Tsukiyo Raisan unable to avenge his village.
• The Raikage had sent Kumogakure’s civilians to Turtle Island before leaving for the Land of Lightning, and Killer B stayed behind as their protector.

Edo Madara attacked the Land of Earth's army alone and overwhelmed its forces with his speed and Rinnegan abilities. Ōnoki, Kitsuchi, and Kurotsuchi weakened his Chibaku Tensei, but Madara remained in control of the battle.

• Ōnoki ordered Kurotsuchi to stay with Sasuke's unit and protect Iwagakure's younger generation as the army advanced.

• Edo Madara shattered Chibaku Tensei and manifested Perfect Susanoo, crushing Iwagakure's hopes of defeating him.
• Ōnoki ordered Kitsuchi and Kurotsuchi to retreat, then sacrificed himself with Dust Release to delay Edo Madara.

• Jiraiya confirmed that the allied armies were ready, and Hokage Madara set their departure for the next day, when the Land of Water’s daimyo arrived.

The Allied Shinobi Forces resisted the First Hokage’s pollen and forest attacks through coordinated efforts by Gaara, Temari, the Hyuga, and other forces. When Orochimaru and Kabuto’s enhanced monsters began slaughtering shinobi, Hokage Madara arrived and burned much of the forest, leaving the battle against the First unresolved.

• Gaara tried to shield the Allied Shinobi Forces from the First’s golden pollen, but the First’s Wood Dragon broke through his sand defense by absorbing its chakra.
• Temari and the Sand Ninjas drove the pollen together with Wind Release, while the Hyuga used Rotation to clear safe zones and gather shinobi from several lands.
• Gaara attacked the First with converging sand, but the First’s Wood Golem and Wood Dragon drained it and proved Gaara could not seal him alone.
• Orochimaru and Kabuto’s enhanced White Zetsu monsters emerged from the forest and killed several members of the Allied Shinobi Forces.

Hokage Madara and Sasuke fought Edo Madara and Hashirama while Sasuke questioned Edo Madara about the war. Black Zetsu revealed the Eye of the Moon Plan, but Sasuke rejected it, saying he had no regrets and preferred reality to an illusion.

• Hashirama introduced himself to the Fifth Hokage, and Gaara left Hokage Madara to face him.
• Hokage Madara formed his Susanoo as the Allied Shinobi Forces watched from headquarters.

Neji Hyuga and the Hyuga Branch Family disabled the Second Mizukage’s Summoning Beast and exploited the opening to attack him. As the Second Mizukage weakened himself with Steaming Danger Tyranny, Neji struck his tenketsu and disrupted his chakra flow.

• Neji used Eight Trigrams Palm: Heaven-Breaker to damage the Summoning Beast internally without cracking its shell.
• Hayato and the Hyuga Branch Family attacked the Second Mizukage after his Summoning Beast stopped producing mist.
