Madara learned from Kaguya’s Kāma that the Ōtsutsuki Clan came from beyond the planet, then reached the Sage of Six Paths’ level of power. He confronted Hagoromo in the sage’s mental space and revealed that he had killed Kaguya.

• Madara examined Kaguya’s Kāma and discovered that it held her memories and that other Ōtsutsuki existed beyond the planet.
• Naruto and Sasuke arrived at the Mountainous Cemetery, where Orochimaru and Kabuto claimed they had helped the Allied Shinobi Forces and urged the brothers to trust Hokage Madara.

Madara demonstrated his Six Paths power to the shinobi world and established himself as a sage before imposing a unified political order. The chapter ended with the nations united, ninja serving as a paid standing army, and the Ōtsutsuki threat left to the strengthened Madara, Sasuke, and Naruto.

• Orochimaru declared the war was over, but Madara said one last step remained and rose into the sky above the Mountainous Cemetery.
