"Tobirama, didn't I tell you not to look down on the Uchiha Clan?"
After hearing how Tobirama had dealt with the Uchiha, the First once again looked helplessly at his younger brother.
"Brother, I gave the Uchiha Clan work that only they could do, simply so we could respond immediately when the next Madara appeared. Sooner or later, they were going to rebel anyway, weren't they? Rather than dwelling on the past, why not look at the present? The current Hokage is one of the Uchiha. Once love drives him into darkness, Konoha will be finished too!"
Ignoring the First's reproach, the Second Hokage was now more concerned that the Fifth Hokage would stray from the right path.
In the Second Hokage's eyes, no matter how normal members of the Uchiha Clan seemed, every one of them had the potential to become another Madara Uchiha. Such dangerous individuals could not be entrusted with the duties of Hokage.
"Hahahaha! Hahahahaha! Hahahahahaha!"
After hearing the Second Hokage's concerns, Edo Madara burst into wild laughter.
How could Edo Madara not laugh? The Second Hokage feared that someone from the Uchiha Clan would become another him, yet the man currently occupying the Hokage position was none other than Madara Uchiha. What expression would the Second Hokage make if he found out?
"What's so funny?"
Seeing Edo Madara mock him so brazenly, the Second Hokage glared at him. Edo Madara, however, had already decided not to pursue the matter.
"Enough. It's time to look ahead. Orochimaru, tell us about our plan."
Both the Second Hokage and Madara Uchiha were supremely confident geniuses. Neither would change his views because of a few words from someone else. For now, Edo Madara had lost interest in the Second Hokage. What concerned him more was Hokage Madara's grand undertaking.
