"True, but it's about time you updated your team too!" Xiao Ran smiled and handed the two Pokémon Eggs to Wang Yunshu.
"These are...?" Wang Yunshu paused, looking at Xiao Ran in confusion.
"Xiao Ran, are these Grass- and Fairy-type Pokémon?" Yun Mengqiu caught on immediately. Remembering their earlier conversation with the owner, she ventured a guess.
"I just scanned them with the Pokédex. Unless something unexpected happens, they should be two pure Fairy-type Pokémon!" Xiao Ran said, raising the Pokédex in his hand.
"Pure Fairy-type Pokémon? But the patterns on them aren't..." Wang Yunshu looked utterly bewildered.

Even Yun Mengqiu was taken aback by Xiao Ran's explanation. Neither woman had realized that the patterns on Pokémon Eggs could be interpreted that way.
As Pokémon Trainers, they mainly studied how to train Pokémon. Identifying Pokémon Eggs fell within a Pokémon Breeder's field of expertise, so they had never studied it systematically.
"So these two Pokémon Eggs actually contain plant Pokémon that are Fairy-type?" Yun Mengqiu asked, looking at the eggs.
"Exactly. I compared their patterns, and if I'm right, these three Pokémon Eggs should contain two Comfey and one Flabébé. They're all plant Pokémon, but their typing is pure Fairy!"
"Comfey and Flabébé?" Wang Yunshu blinked. She had barely heard of either Pokémon.
Both Pokémon had very
