"They aren't little bees. They're Cutiefly, little Bug- and Fairy-type Pokémon!" Xiao Ran said with a smile, releasing wisps of Fairy-type aura.

All the Cutiefly surrounding Veranica paused, then swarmed toward Xiao Ran.

"Good heavens, what's going on? Why did all the Cutiefly suddenly go over to Xiao Ran?" Uncle Xiang exclaimed in surprise.

"Because he's a Fairy-type himself!" Veranica said unhappily, feeling as though someone had stolen her little friends.

"Ying~~~" The Cutiefly circled Xiao Ran, chirping happily.

"I'd like to take them out with me. Is that okay?" Xiao Ran asked with a smile as he watched the Cutiefly around him.

He had to admit that having these little creatures gathered around really did lift one's spirits. He hadn't been feeling down, but even so, his mood had improved considerably.

"Of course! I brought you here to see them in the first place. But I didn't know they were Fairy types too!" Veranica said curiously.

"That's right. Little creatures this cute are obviously Fairy types!" Xiao Ran answered as though it were only natural. Very few Fairy-types were ugly.

"Full of yourself!" Millie, the maid, said disdainfully. She hadn't forgotten that this man had stolen her young lady's heart, though he really was handsome enough to make even her heart flutter.

Drawn by the Power of the Moon, the little Cutiefly willingly entered the Poké Balls one after another as soon as Xiao Ran took them out. A quick count revealed that he had caught eleven Cutiefly in one go, and they had only just entered the Woods. They hadn't even reached Snow Mountain yet.

He let the Cutiefly back out, and the group's surroundings immediately became much livelier.

Cutiefly were naturally unafraid of strangers and particularly enjoyed approaching humans, provided those humans meant them no harm.
