His name was Bill, and his family sold breakfast. Daisy, the girl he had mentioned, was the one who had lent Xiao Ran her test paper earlier. She also had the best grades among the four of them.
As for the other two, the cuter girl was named Phyllis, while the quieter boy was named Kyle. Their families worked as teachers and ran a Pokémon supply shop, respectively.
"Mom, we're back!" Daisy walked toward the counter as soon as she entered the shop. A woman who looked to be in her sixties or seventies was working on the accounts there. It was hard to imagine that she was Daisy's mother.
"Ma'am, we're here too! We even brought some guests. They need to stay here for two or three months, and they've hired all four of us as guides. Could you arrange some rooms for them?" Bill leaned over the counter and asked cheerfully.
"Oh? We have guests? Right, it's the annual opening of the Secret Realm. Lots of students from outside will be coming in!" The elderly woman paused, then spoke as realization dawned on her.
"How many rooms would you like to rent?" The elderly woman looked over Xiao Ran's group. Four women and one man—there were plenty of possible room arrangements, anywhere from one room to five.
"Hmm, five rooms, please. Larger ones, if possible. We have quite a few Pokémon!" Yun Mengqiu stepped forward and said.
Hotel rooms in the Secret Realm were never very large. Two people could squeeze into one, but their Pokémon would have to stay in their Poké Balls the whole time. Keeping them confined for two or three months would be far too cruel.
"Five rooms? All right!" The proprietress nodded, took out five key cards, and handed them to Yun Mengqiu.
