The intruding Pokémon

This was what people commonly called the Safari Zone. Humans generally did not settle here. Vast stretches of primeval forest nurtured all kinds of Pokémon, creating an ecosystem unique to the Safari Zone.

When ordinary people talked about leaving the city to catch Pokémon, they usually meant coming to a Wild Area like this. This was as far as many people would ever travel in their lives; the Wilderness Area beyond it was out of their reach.

After a full half-day of driving along the winding roads carved through the Safari Zone, the vehicles finally stopped. They had not reached their destination, however, only the first security checkpoint. Everyone finally had a chance to get out and stretch their legs. Sitting in a vehicle the whole time was hardly enjoyable.

"It's so beautiful here!" Xiao Ran exclaimed as he gazed at the boundless plains around him.

"Yes. There are huge stretches of plains around the school too, but they still can't compare to this," Xuan Yuan Nian agreed. Such beautiful wilderness clearly held an even greater appeal for the girls.
