Ch. 461Injured: A Desperate Chase for Survival
Plot points and events
- Tang Lin and Han Feng hide beneath the boss’s bed, narrowly avoiding discovery when the boss returns to kowtow to a corpse. They escape into a passage, but the boss comes back again and approaches their hiding place.
- In the confinement room, Fang Cheng learns that a surveillance camera covers the boss’s bedroom. He knocks out the four prisoners and sets off to check on the others.
- Han Feng’s gunshot wound worsens as the group moves through the passage. Tang Shiba extracts the bullet without anesthetic while the others keep watch, despite pursuers closing in.
- After treating Han Feng, Tang Shiba stays behind to cover the group’s escape. Tang Lin refuses to leave her, but she forces him to go with Shanshan and the injured Han Feng.
- Tang Shiba uses a system-redeemed smoke bomb containing “peach blossom frenzy” to disrupt the pursuers, then catches up with the group.
- They reunite with Director Wang, whose badly swollen face reveals that he has been beaten. Shanshan is relieved to see him, though she bluntly compares him to someone wearing a pig-head mask.
