As an actress who worked in a haunted house, Donggua had somehow become frightened on her own turf. She stopped hesitating, grabbed Gao Ming, and crawled out of the classroom.
The instant they left the classroom, Central Control's voice sounded in Donggua's Bluetooth earpiece. The earpiece seemed to have stopped working earlier; she hadn't heard any of Central Control's instructions.
"I need to crawl farther away." Donggua clung tightly to Gao Ming. She noticed that he kept looking back every few steps, as though he couldn't bear to leave that classroom. "Is earning a little money really supposed to be this hard?"
Only after crawling out of the hidden corridor did Donggua relax a little. The pressure on her eased considerably. "You need to go to the restroom now. Don't do anything unnecessary this time. We're in a very dangerous situation. Do you understand?"
"Yeah."
"You always agree so readily." The other visitors' battle royale had already begun on the first floor, and going downstairs now would disrupt their experience. After quietly checking with Central Control, Donggua decided to take Gao Ming to an unused restroom on the second floor for the second test.
Donggua wasn't particularly familiar with the second floor either. To be safe, she accompanied Gao Ming for quite a while before finally finding a restroom reserved for medical staff in a corner of the floor.
