The banquet only began winding down at nine. Once all the guests had left, the Mu Family drove back to the villa.
As soon as the car stopped, Yan Wen was the first to get out, skipping inside.
I had such a great time today. I'm a little sad Yan Dad and Yan Mom couldn't make it, but there'll be plenty more birthdays.
"Is it time to get some rest?" Yan Wen asked.
Xie Yunshu wagged her finger. "Not yet. We haven't given you your birthday presents."
Yan Wen raised his eyebrows, his face full of anticipation. Tang Yun brought out his gift first. "A Yan, I didn't know what to get you. This is the latest phone. It's for you."
"Wow! I was just thinking of getting a new phone. You really know me."
Tang Yun scratched his head with a bashful smile. Gao Yuyang pulled the gift box he had placed under the coffee table out and set it on top. Inside the elegant white box was a new, knee-high model in black and gold, exquisitely crafted.
Yan Wen's eyes widened. "Oh my gosh! Isn't this the latest one? And it's a limited edition! Yu Yang, you're really giving this to me?"
Gao Yuyang nodded. "Only the best for a good friend."
Yan Wen couldn't put the model down. "I'll buy a new cabinet tomorrow just for this!"
Mu Xingfeng and Xie Yunshu smiled fondly. Mu Xingfeng took out a folder and opened it to reveal a contract.
"Xiao Wen, this is your gift from Mom and Dad. We're each giving you ten percent of the company's shares, twenty percent in total. Your eldest brother and the others each have their own share too. The money is yours to use however you like."
Xie Yunshu asked a servant
