Become one of the Nameless!

"Are you okay? Can you hear me? Do you remember your name?" March 7th cautiously questioned Stelle, who had just woken up.

"I... don't remember anything." Stelle held her head.

Once the introductions were over, Dan Heng glanced at Zhang Xiu, who was keeping his distance, then turned to the two girls and said:

"We lost contact with Arlan from the Security Department nearby. I need to bring him back... Be careful, both of you."

Only after Dan Heng left and Stelle picked up a baseball bat did Zhang Xiu approach her.

"Hello there, protagonist. My name is Zhang Xiu. I look forward to getting along with you from now on."

He patted Stelle's shoulder, then took the lead toward the Master Control Zone.

The three made their way forward, encountering scattered members of the Antimatter Legion along the way. Reality was different from the game, though: there were several times as many enemies.

But against Zhang Xiu and the two girls, they fared about as well as Hakimi facing a speeding truck.

The group bulldozed their way through, first reuniting with Dan Heng, then finding Arlan in the surveillance room before heading to the elevator together.

If the plot had not changed at all, the game's first elite enemy, the Doomsday Beast, would be waiting for them here.

Sure enough, the moment they stepped onto the transparent bridge above that led to the elevator, an arrow of light carrying the aura of Destruction shot toward Stelle!

This time, Zhang Xiu blasted the arrow aside with his sword before Dan Heng could act, then looked toward the distant centaur-like creature clad in antimatter armor.

The Doomsday Beast-or perhaps it could also be called a Huiyin, an Abomination of Abundance modified by the Antimatter Legion.

"How about a contest to see who deals the most damage?" Zhang Xiu teased, stepping forward.

"This isn't a game, Ranger. What we're facing..." Dan Heng frowned deeply, trying to stop him.

"Is the Antimatter Legion. I know, Teacher Egg Yolk. But what they're facing is me."

The deck beneath his feet groaned and buckled under the strain. Zhang Xiu lowered his body, then shot toward the Doomsday Beast like a cannonball!

One punch! The Doomsday Beast's forequarters caved in! Its body hurtled backward!

The Voidrangers appearing in midair tried to stop Zhang Xiu, but their attacks could only graze the hem of his clothes.

Then Zhang Xiu mounted the Doomsday Beast and seized its head with both hands.

As the muscles in his arms flexed, this monster capable of destroying a surface civilization in an instant through self-detonation had its head ripped clean off by Zhang Xiu.

Its enormous body collapsed to the ground, turning into particles that gradually dispersed into the air.

Stelle and the others finished off the remaining Voidrangers as well. This time, they resolved the crisis here without Himeko's help.

"Oh my gosh... Zhang Xiu, you're actually that strong?" March 7th's pink-and-blue eyes widened in astonishment.

"Of course. I am a Galaxy Ranger, after all. Let's get moving."

The group took the elevator to the Master Control Zone, where a red-haired woman was quietly awaiting their arrival.

"Little March, Dan Heng, thanks for your hard work... And who is this beside you...?"

The woman before them was tall and graceful, with a gentle expression and a reassuring calm in her golden eyes.

Her attire was elegant and imposing. A black coat half-covered her shapely figure, while the white dress beneath bore golden branch-and-bud ornaments.

Beyond that, she wore several pieces of gold sculpted into roses.

Himeko, the Astral Express's current navigator, was a legend... painted in vivid colors.

"A pleasure to meet you. Hello, my name is Zhang Xiu." A flicker of reminiscence passed through his eyes.

"Your eyes... seem to be telling me, 'Long time no see,' Mr. Zhang Xiu." Himeko keenly noticed the look in his eyes.

"Don't mind it. In this vast universe, there are bound to be similar faces."

After some conversation, Zhang Xiu went to a corner alone to settle his excited emotions.

Tension permeated every part of the Master Control Zone. Even the air had grown heavy, making it difficult to breathe.

Zhang Xiu summoned his Greatsword again, gripping its hilt tightly with both hands and feeling the cold touch that came from it.

Now that I've crossed over here, there are so, so many things I can do.

The next part of the plot was the Doomsday Beast's attack, followed by Nanook casting a gaze upon Stelle, then her boarding the Astral Express.

After exhaling a stale breath, Zhang Xiu used his Greatsword to prop himself up. At that very moment, the space station began to shake.

Several red warnings appeared in midair as the Doomsday Beast's claws began tearing through the protective barrier.

"Leave on the Astral Express." Asta glanced at Himeko beside her, then returned her gaze to the surveillance footage on the screen. "I'll stay."

March 7th reached out, wanting to say something, but Himeko interrupted her. "Let's go."

Zhang Xiu burst into motion, racing toward the Platform.

He reached the Platform ahead of everyone else. The brilliant river of stars filled his vision, leaving him lightheaded.

Even though he had gazed at this galaxy countless times while embracing Yaoshi on the little boat, its beauty still made his eyes linger.

"Is that... Zhang Xiu up ahead? Hey? Zhang Xiu! What are you doing here all by yourself?" March 7th waved at him, while he raised his left hand and pointed at the enormous body cruising through the sea of stars outside the station.

"The Doomsday Beast... It really did follow us here." Himeko frowned deeply and looked at Stelle beside her.

March 7th was not about to indulge it. She drew her bow and shouted, "Get down here!"

And that monster capable of annihilating a planet actually answered her, crashing onto the Platform like a deluge.

"ROAR-!!"

The sound spread through the air in visible shock waves, while its bizarre wings whipped up a gale.

Standing at the very front, Zhang Xiu straightened his shadow-swallowed body, his clothes snapping in the wind.

He raised his Greatsword and pointed it straight at the terrifying monster before him.

The battle erupted. The Doomsday Beast raised a wing large enough to blot out every star and slammed it toward Zhang Xiu on the Platform.

The silver-gray wing swept past his body, the surging aura of Destruction upon it skimming the bridge of his nose.

It twisted its body, attempting to sweep its wing across the Platform, only for Zhang Xiu to raise his sword and block it!

Feeling the tremendous force transmitted through the blade, Zhang Xiu's arms trembled, and the blood inside him boiled.

The Astral Express Crew's attacks struck the Doomsday Beast at that moment, taking some of the force out of its blow.

Seizing the moment as its strength faltered, Zhang Xiu blasted the wing aside with his sword, then leaped onto the creature's mountain-like body and plunged his blade into it!

The power of Abundance warped the aura of Destruction within it. Countless branches and buds sprouted from its body, restricting the Doomsday Beast's movements.

The sight also confirmed Dan Heng's suspicions about Zhang Xiu, but his hands never stopped moving, Cloud-Piercer carving wound after wound into the Doomsday Beast.

Under everyone's combined assault, the Doomsday Beast collapsed, only to raise its head in an instant. One... no, two beams of Destruction shot toward them!

Zhang Xiu's eyes widened. He had never expected a deviation to occur at this moment.

The power of Abundance he had injected into it had probably disrupted its control over its body, causing the original beam to split and blast toward Himeko!

Without hesitation, Zhang Xiu stepped in front of Himeko and raised his sword to block it! Stelle also took the beam originally aimed at March 7th head-on with her body!

But the Greatsword could only block part of the impact. All the remaining energy scoured Zhang Xiu's exposed body.

Yet the power of Abundance made him recover faster than his flesh could be damaged. In the end, a beam capable of bombarding half a planet failed to leave so much as a scratch on Zhang Xiu.

At the same time, the Stellaron inside Stelle was activated, and Nanook's gaze had already fallen upon her within the Pathway Rift.

The next moment, an immense surge of energy swallowed the Doomsday Beast whole, and Stelle's body slowly rose into the air.

Just as everyone found themselves at a loss, a figure approached from afar and halted Stelle's transformation with his cane.

"Welt! She..." March 7th caught Stelle's body.

"Mr. Zhang Xiu! Are you all right?" Himeko looked toward Zhang Xiu, who had blocked the attack for her.

"Don't worry about it. I'm actually one of the Denizens of Abundance. Look, I'm fine."

As he spoke, he even turned in a circle. All that could be said was that the hem of his clothes was slightly dirty.
