Heaven Beyond Divine Mountain had two continents. The eastern one was comparatively flat, and Evernight City stood upon it. Its lord, Qian Kang, was an Earth Immortal who lived there with his Wife and servants.
Those who could enter Heaven Beyond Divine Mountain were either Sword Immortals with some cultivation or Demon Beasts that had grown powerful. They usually took the route through the Forty-Seven Islands of the Lesser South Pole on the winter solstice. Not far beyond the entrance lay the coast of the East Mainland, where Evernight City stood. Sword Immortals stopped at the city for supplies, and some settled there, while Demon Beasts bred and flourished among the mountains and seas. Spiritual energy was abundant here, and everything grew extremely quickly. Over millions of years, their numbers had multiplied enormously.
Evernight City held more than a thousand descendants of Sword Immortals. Most knew a few Swordsmanship techniques, but few amounted to much, existing somewhere between immortals and mortals.
The Western Continent was the Bright Realm, crowded with peaks that rose and fell in unbroken succession. Jade-like flowers and trees spread in dense profusion, many of them rare and wondrous species from the Lingkong Immortal Realm.
