Yu Xiaogang lowered his head in thought.

Dugu Yan gave a soft laugh.

Seeing no guards at Shrek Academy's entrance, the two walked straight inside.

The academy was deserted, with hardly any students in sight.

They continued farther inside and soon spotted the dean's office.

They walked straight in.

Inside the office, Flender and Zhao Wuji were still discussing the Heavenly Secrets Tower.

Yu Tianheng and Dugu Yan entered.

"Finally, two living souls!"

There was a hint of arrogance in Yu Tianheng's tone.

"Where did you come from, brat? You dare run wild in Shrek Academy?"

Hearing his voice, Zhao Wuji turned and barked angrily.

He released his imposing aura, immediately changing the looks in Yu Tianheng's and Dugu Yan's eyes.

Facing a level 76 Battle Soul Saint, they really shouldn't act too brazenly.

Some of the arrogance faded from their faces. They cupped their hands and said, "We've come to visit Shrek Academy!"

"Who are you?"

Zhao Wuji asked coldly.

They hadn't expected the Yu family to send anyone here.

Then they turned their attention to Dugu Yan, their eyes shifting slightly as another thought occurred to them.

"Dugu... could you be related to the Poison Douluo?"

Zhao Wuji asked curiously.

"The Poison Douluo is my grandfather!"

Dugu Yan replied.

Flender and Zhao Wuji looked even more surprised. Both these young people had formidable backgrounds; they couldn't casually resort to force.

"What brings you here?"

Flender asked.

"I came specifically to find Yu Xiaogang!"

Yu Tianheng said.

"The Grandmaster!"

Flender looked even more surprised. He had never imagined that these two had come specifically for Yu Xiaogang.

Did the Yu family have something in mind?

"What do you want with him?"

Flender continued asking.

"We'd like to invite him to the Heavenly Secrets Tower and ask about his situation."

Yu Tianheng answered directly, hiding nothing.

"So that's it!"

Flender's eyes brightened at those words. He had just tried to get Yu Xiaogang to visit the Heavenly Secrets Tower, only to be refused outright!

Now he finally had an opportunity.

"Haha, you've come at just the right time. Come, I'll take you to Xiaogang!"

"Young man, you must persuade Xiaogang to visit the Heavenly Secrets Tower!"

Flender said as he rose and walked over.

Yu Tianheng and Dugu Yan exchanged a slightly surprised glance.

Did this old man have something in mind too?

"Let's go!"

Flender led them out toward the rear courtyard.

In the garden, Yu Xiaogang was still pacing. His expression was grave, his heart in turmoil, and for the moment he had no idea what to do.

Just then, Flender appeared with the others.

"Xiaogang, you really are here!"

"Look who I've brought!"

Flender greeted him and pointed to Yu Tianheng beside him.

Yu Xiaogang looked toward Flender. When he saw the young man standing beside him, his expression changed dramatically.

Yu Tianheng's clothing was distinctive to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.

The young man before him was clearly a member of the Yu family!

The Yu family had sent someone!

Yu Xiaogang's expression turned chilly. "What does someone from the Yu family want with me?" he asked coldly.

Yu Tianheng looked Yu Xiaogang over, then approached with a respectful expression. "Uncle, I've come to ask you to do something!"

His tone was exceedingly polite.

Yu Xiaogang frowned at Yu Tianheng. "Yu Tianheng, who sent you?"

Yu Tianheng paused slightly, then thought for a moment before gently shaking his head. "I decided to come and seek your help myself, Uncle."

Yu Xiaogang's eyes changed again. "What help do you want from me?" he asked coldly.

Yu Tianheng spoke frankly. "Please come with me to the Heavenly Secrets Tower, Uncle, and have your martial soul's situation divined!"

"Divine my martial soul!"

Anger rose on Yu Xiaogang's face. He swept his sleeve and said, "I'm not going!"

"Yu Tianheng, go back!"

Yu Xiaogang ordered him to leave.

"Uncle, this concerns both your fate and the family's. You cannot refuse!"

Yu Tianheng's tone grew firm.

Flender also spoke up to persuade him. "Xiaogang, at this point, you can't refuse anymore. Listen to us and visit the Heavenly Secrets Tower. It's not as though anything will happen to you!"

Yu Xiaogang's brows rose again. "I know perfectly well what's wrong with my martial soul. I don't need anyone else's help!" he snapped.

"Xiaogang, if you keep being this stubborn, you'll miss a golden opportunity!"

"You must go this time!"

"As your elder brother, I'm ordering you to go!"

Flender's tone grew much firmer as he stared at Yu Xiaogang and spoke solemnly.

"Flender!"

Yu Xiaogang hadn't seemed to expect those words from him, and for a moment he didn't refuse.

"Uncle, please don't turn us down again!"

Yu Tianheng bowed as he spoke.

Watching from the side, Dugu Yan curled her lip. She thought Yu Xiaogang was terribly fussy, hemming and hawing like an old woman. It wasn't as though he was being asked to do anything momentous, yet he was making such a fuss. No wonder he had been expelled from the Yu family!

Yu Xiaogang looked at the two men. After a brief hesitation, he finally nodded. "Fine, I'll go!"

"But I must decide exactly what to ask."

"You cannot interfere in my affairs!"

Yu Xiaogang told the two of them.

"All right!"

Flender nodded in agreement.
