Breaking Through to Grandmaster
Grandmaster Realm, also known as Dao Embryo Realm.
The so-called Dao Embryo is to first enter the Qi with the spirit, then merge the spirit with the Qi, and when the spirit and Qi are combined, the mind becomes still and undisturbed. Then, from the inside out, one is finally reborn and sheds the mortal body.
To put it simply, it involves moving the nurtured Transformation Profound Martial Secret Treasure from the Crimson Palace to the Divine Court. Then, with the Secret Treasury as the core, and using Strange Phenomenon to cultivate the Vital Essence, and spirit into a unified whole, it transforms into the Dao Embryo.
And the three most important points are:
One is whether the method cultivated can send the Profound Martial Secret Treasure into the Divine Court without collapsing.
Secondly, is the spirit that has been refined sufficient to unify all elements without causing chaos?
The third question concerns whether the intention one upholds can remain within a certain realm without retreating.
This is why one must Perfection in cultivation, Divine Sense, and willpower to have even a sliver of hope.
Gu Yuanqing was naturally satisfied at this moment. With the support of the Heavenly Cycle Great Formation, the Profound Martial Secret Treasure steadily entered the Divine Court Divine Court and merged with it amidst the booming sound.
Consciousness falls upon the Profound Martial Phenomenon, aligning with the landscape through the Mountain-Contemplation Method.
Various insights flowed through his heart, with the Sword Intent gained from Sword Practice practice at its core, and various fragmented insights from Mountain Observation gathered within it.
The True Qi within the body flows into the Profound Martial Secret Treasure, like a river flowing through this Heaven and Earth.
When all his Vital Energy and mental energy fell into the Profound Martial Secret Treasure, Gu Yuanqing's body was as if he had "died," and even his heartbeat stopped.
Gu Yuanqing focused his mind, remaining still and silent, while a wisp of innate vitality slowly nurtured within the deathly still Profound Martial Secret Treasure Heaven and Earth.
Without a single thought arising, maintaining this tranquility in the heart allows this glimmer of life to slowly grow in such a setting, preventing it from withering away due to fluctuations in the mind.
It is unknown how much time passed, but this wisp of innate life force grew stronger and stronger, yet it was suppressed within the Heaven and Earth, unable to move. Like a fledgling bird wrapped in a thick eggshell, no matter how hard it tried, it still could not break out of the shell.
Gu Yuanqing's mind finally awakened.
"Time is up!"
In the blink of an eye, the Sword Intent and the various realms of understanding gained from Mountain Observation converged into one, merging into that Primordial Qi. This Primordial Qi seemed to suddenly possess a spine and beam, rapidly Great Accomplishment with the various realms of understanding as nourishment.
Suddenly, a loud "thump" was heard, and a deep and powerful thud reverberated throughout the entire Secret Treasury, as if it were the sound of creation, bringing this dead and silent world back to life.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
The sound was like the Dao Sound, and with each throb, a tingling sensation spread throughout the body, deepening the integration of essence, energy, Vital Essence within the Profound Martial Secret Treasure.
The heartbeat in the Physical Body also resumes, and the frequencies of the two gradually become synchronized.
Gu Yuanqing's breathing also returned to normal, and the frequency of his breathing began to adjust, aligning with the Dao Sound. In the end, his entire body and even his consciousness expanded and contracted in sync with the sound of the Dao.
Early in the morning, Feng Tao prepared to deliver breakfast, but as soon as she reached the courtyard gate, she suddenly felt that she shouldn't have pushed the door open and gone in.
The old man had sensed the aura rising in the courtyard last night, but he dared not have the slightest thought of investigating it.
Recently, some animals that usually live in North Spring Mountain have become unusually aggressive. Any animal that does not belong to North Spring Mountain and attempts to enter will be attacked by the group.
Another day passed, Aunt Feng, feeling somewhat worried, went to ask the old man for his opinion.
The old man gestured a few times to reassure her, but when the old man Gu Wenqi, looked into the Courtyard, a fierce glint flashed across his face.
Three days passed, and Gu Yuanqing finally opened his eyes. He let out a long breath and smiled.
Fortunately, nothing major happened in the past three days, otherwise he would have had to interrupt his cultivation to deal with affairs. Although this might not have had a significant impact, it certainly wouldn't have been as perfect as it is now.
Within the Divine Court, the Profound Martial Secret Treasure had completed its Transformation and was undergoing its final nurturing. The primordial Vital Energy, intertwined with True Essence and Divine Sense, enveloped the Dao Embryo, which shimmered with seven-colored light, at its very center. The beating sound, like that of a heart, was emanating from it.
Stepping out of the Courtyard, Gu Yuanqing felt Pure Qi. Looking at the Heaven and Earth around her, she felt completely different; it had become more delicate, vivid, and layered.
He walked along the mountain path like an ordinary person, with birds and beasts playing and fluttering around him, which made him happy and closer to the Green Mountain.
Gu Wenqi was working in the Mountain, but his gaze often fell on Gu Yuanqing, his expression hesitant.
As evening fell, Gu Yuanqing returned to the Courtyard, where he drank tea and read a book.
Old man Gu Wenqi knocked on the courtyard gate.
"Come in!" Gu Yuanqing said softly.
"Young master, this is tonight's dinner."
Gu Wenqi carried the food box into the Courtyard and spoke using ventriloquism.
Gu Yuanqing looked up and asked casually, "Why wasn't it Aunt Feng who delivered it today?"
Gu Wenqi said, "She still had to clean the house, so I volunteered to bring it to you after I finished chopping firewood."
Gu Yuanqing nodded calmly. "Okay, put it here, go out."
But after a long while, the old man was still in the courtyard.
Gu Yuanqing turned around and asked, "Is there anything else?"
Gu Wenqi smiled and bowed deeply, "Congratulations on becoming a Grandmaster. From now on, the sky's the limit, and you can roam freely as you please."
"How do you know I broke through to the Grandmaster level and not some other level?" Gu Yuanqing sat up.
Gu Wenqi bowed slightly and said with a smile, "Although my cultivation is not high, I do have some discernment, and having been on this mountain all this time, I naturally know a little more."
Gu Yuanqing nodded and said, "Your judgment is indeed excellent; you just broke through to become Grandmaster a few days ago."
"Thank you for your kind words, young master. However, I have another matter I would like to ask for your assistance with today," the old man said.
Gu Yuanqing looked at the old man and suddenly sighed, "You've been my servant for over a year. Considering all the hard work you've done, if you turn around and leave the mountain now, we'll be strangers from now on. I'll pretend today's events never happened. What do you think?"
Gu Wenqi's body stiffened slightly, and he finally knelt down, saying, "I have no intention of making things difficult for you, young master, but I have a great grudge against you. I ask for nothing else but that you teach me the Grandmaster's methods. If you agree, the oath I made that day will still stand."
Gu Yuanqing glanced at the food box and said calmly, "You're still talking like that because you're waiting for the Incense emanating from the food box to take effect, aren't you?"
Gu Wenqi stood up and muttered to himself, "Young master has good eyesight, but why say it out loud? You will pass on your Cultivation Method to me, and I will travel to the ends of the earth. When I avenge my great enemy, I will surely remember your kindness."
Gu Yuanqing chuckled and said, "Are you so sure I'll compromise with you?"
"Young master, you are of noble birth and have already reached the Grandmaster realm at such a young age, while I am crippled and will only have a worthless life if I die. You naturally know which is more important, so why argue with me out of spite?"
Gu Yuanqing smiled and said, "You may not have understood what I meant. I am Grandmaster, while you only broke through to the True Martial Eighth Layer a few days ago. Where do you get the confidence to say such things to me?"
Gu Wenqi's expression changed slightly, a cold smile appearing on his face. He thought to himself, "Young Master Gu, why ask a question you already know the answer to? Do you think you can scare me like this? Although I am far from being Grandmaster, I was once a member of a prestigious family and know the Hundred-Day Transformation Weakness Period Grandmaster. Countless Grandmaster have fallen at this stage throughout history! I don't want Young Master Gu to end up on this path either, so I urge you to consider this carefully, lest we all end up in a difficult situation!"
