Gu Yuanqing defended North Spring Mountain from the Demon Race, then entered the Ancient Realm to pursue Dao Souls. After surviving Wuyi City’s ghostly Full Moon and clashing with Yu Yunan, he left for Dongyuan City with Zheng Kun.

• Li Chengyi conquered Great Zhou and unified the Floating World under Great Qian, while Gu Yuanqing strengthened his Void Heaven World and discovered North Spring Mountain rested on a sleeping divine turtle.
• As the Human Race retreated before the Demon Race, Gu Yuanqing defended his territory, killed the Mantis Great Demon, and faced accusations that he had taken missing demon clansmen.
• Gu Yuanqing returned Young Fox and Young Tiger, then defeated Ao Guang’s attacks and absorbed the power of the Dragon God Burial World into North Spring Mountain.

As the Demon Race and Human Race clashed and the Dragon Demon Ancestor awakened, Gu Yuanqing stood in the dragon’s path to protect North Spring Mountain.

• Gu Yuanqing entered the Ancient Realm with Zheng Kun, learned its costs and dangers, and followed him to the Boundless River to fish for Dao Souls.
• Gu Yuanqing caught and refined many Dao Souls, then captured a Top-Grade Profound Tier Water Ape Dao Soul and defeated cultivators who tried to take it.

Gu Yuanqing captured the Dragon Demon Ancestor, helped the human survivors retreat, and strengthened North Spring Mountain as he prepared for the Floating World’s advancement. In the Ancient Realm, his Dao Soul fishing method drew the attention of powerful sects, leaving him caught between the Sanyang Sect and the Illusionary Spirit Sect.

• Gu Yuanqing defeated the Dragon Demon Ancestor and pulled his Divine Soul into the Heaven and Earth Pool, while the human forces completed their retreat from the Demon Realm.
• Gu Yuanqing showed Li Shi'an, Ji Dai, and the others that North Spring Mountain connected three worlds, then brought Li Chengyi there and helped him begin cultivating toward the Spirit Realm.
• Gu Yuanqing refined his cultivation and collected Dragon Demon Ancestor’s blood, then entered the Ancient Realm to fish for Dao Souls and encountered Chen Shiwei.
• Wang Zufeng and the other family leaders sought Qi Mingkun’s divination about Gu Yuanqing, but Gu Yuanqing’s strike destroyed Qi Mingkun’s Heavenly Eye and severed the connection.
• Gu Yuanqing refused Yi Yunbo’s offer to join the Illusionary Spirit Sect and killed Ancestor Ji Yin and four other Golden Peak Hall cultivators after they tried to seize his fishing method.
